Sorry, SLW, I looked around, and the closest I came to that Booster Gold plushie is this real Blue Beetle Build-A-Bear:

Which makes me think that we're pretty close to having a Booster Gold Build-A-Bear if Warner Bros can ever actually get a Booster Gold show off the ground.

It's only a *real* Blue Beetle costume if they do Ted's Beetle costume.

@Tinuvial. Ted is Legacy character himself. So if you want go there Dan is true Blue Beetle.

That is super cute. But if I want a Booster plushie, I might have to go and figure out how to make one. LOL!
Tinuvial posted on May. 16, 2025 at 1:42 PM
@Tiffany
True, but Dan never knew Booster aside from that very brief time-shattering meeting. Which means, for Booster, Ted's the first Beetle on his friendship list.

I hadn't expected to see Booster Gold in my Local Comic Shop this week, so imagine my surprise when SLW dropped into the comments of Monday's post to alert us that Booster can be seen in Fire and Ice: When Hell Freezes Over #2. Kinda.

I wonder if that Booster Gold doll is made by the same manufacturer as the one we saw in Booster Gold Volume 2 #17:

And like SLW, I also wonder how anyone could be making Booster Gold plushies in a continuity that doesn't remember Booster Gold ever existed? Oh, well. Probably best not to think too much about it.
Thanks, SLW.

I still want five of them. I would have one at work, one at home, one in the car-- plus probably two I would just have as backups.

No to Ice with long hair. Just no.
Tiffany posted on May. 16, 2025 at 9:11 AM
@Brandon, it's a body swap story. That's Fire in there.

@Tiffany, oh ok.
I thought the butt comment seemed out of character lol

Spotted on Reddit: this custom Booster Gold action figure with flat top!

I love the hair style. It's got a comic book precedent, too; Booster did indeed have a flat top-adjacent crew cut in the original Booster Gold #13 (perhaps not so coincidentally while the original Top Gun was in theaters).
You can see a few more pictures at r/customactionfigures

Our boy appears to have gotten a cameo in Fire & Ice as a plushie I want like 5 of. Which is a neat trick considering his current nonexistence!
Tiffany posted on May. 14, 2025 at 8:55 AM
Probably just an editor error. But of course could ripple effect. While Fire and Ice is for the most part just a fun little book without impact on the wider DCU, we do that later in the run they're going to be fighting Gorilla Grodd. Who is the main villain in the current event 'We are Yesterday." This would be one his first uses after it. So maybe this book will tie into the all in saga bigger than we thought. Or more likely it's just a editor error. But it's just possibility.
SLW (Steff) posted on May. 14, 2025 at 8:59 AM
@Tiffany: Maybe! But the real question is where I can get those plushies. XD Except Bruce's, he can #&$* off. Add Ted's in with Jaime's and I would throw real money in there. LOL!

@Tiffany i mean, him being forgotten doesn't mean all traces of him disappear. they might just see him as some generic royalty-free hero now, you know?

I'm on record as no fan of social media, but without reddit, I never would have discovered that Superman scribe Joshua Williamson has a substack.com account, "Joshua Williamson's Super Scary Newsletter," where on "Superman Day" April 18 he posted the following:
I've thought about All In Special waaay too much, and I wish I had a clue about what he thinks I should think is a clue. That the logo has changed on the 30th-century Legion Flight Ring? That the Justice League forgets Booster exists? That Skeets has gone missing? That in one story Booster Gold is wearing his 1980s collar and in the other story he isn't? A little less ambiguity would be helpful, please; I can only think so much.
You'll note that this doesn't actually say that Booster Gold will be in Superman #28, but it almost does. So I think Booster boosters should be prepared to pick up Superman #28 when it comes out on July 23.

I thought you weren't a fan Joshua Williamson.
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on May. 9, 2025 at 1:50 PM
You are correct, Tiffany, I'm not a fan of Williamson's work. I wouldn't have naturally gone wandering around his substack. I saw a screenshot on Reddit and went there to copy/paste text for this post. (I prefer to steal content directly from the source when possible.)

My question was more why buy what you don't like? I get that you're a Booster fan and all. But you don't like Joshua Williamson writing of Booster. Are you scared DC will never publish Booster again if this random Superman issues doesn't sell well? First off all that kinda logic just doesn't track. Corporations can make decision they want. They don't always follow logic. And even if did, they can't reach into your mind and go "he like Booster but Williamson" they're just going to assume you like Williamson's Booster. And second, the current Superman book has sold well and is generally loved. Plus (this isn't meant to disrespect your opinion,) you seem to minority of Booster fans. Most I've seen actually like what Williamson is doing. So it's probably safe to say it won't have problem selling. And before you say that you need for your website, no you don't, any big revelations about Booster will posted online. For Booster is really popular character. So all that said I don't get why you want to buy and encouraging others to.

It is the policy of Boosterrific.com to promote any Booster Gold appearance, whether I'm personally excited about it or not. Yes, I want to encourage DC Comics to publish more Booster Gold stories, but my primary goal in these sorts of blog posts is to keep people informed of where they should expect to see Booster next. (Personally, I've been collecting Booster Gold comics for a long time; I'm not going to skip one now just because I don't care for its writer.)

Onto the cruel and overly long wait. LOL! Then again, waiting since LAST YEAR was worse, so I suppose I'll survive.

Are you too young to remember 1994? If so, DC has the book for you this week! DC Finest: Events: Zero Hour: Crisis in Time, Part Two collects the second half of that summer's giant crossover event that reset the timeline of the DC Universe. Most importantly for Booster boosters, that includes Zero Hour #2, #1, and #0. (Yes, the five-issue series counted backwards, a gimmick DC would reuse a decade later for Countdown / Countdown to Final Crisis.)
Also, Booster Gold was in an ad for All In Saga in the print edition (but not the digital release) of this past weekend's DC All In 2025 FCBD Special Edition. I did not pick up a copy for myself (oops), so I'm hoping it will show up again in this week's books. (Otherwise, if any Booster booster can get me a scan of that page, please get in touch.)

Here ya go Walter i'll email you the pic.
While I'm here. Do you think that they are ever going to resolve the Zero hour 30th anniversary one shot cliff hanger? Could the way that they resolve the cliff hanger from the 30th anniversary issue to have Booster show up? I get that he's busy now.

Got your email, Bob. Thanks! Now I know what it looks like. But what I still really need is a flatbed scan of the page so it's all clearly legible for reposting.

Sorry, I didn't answer your question about the Zero Hour 30th. It felt to me like they were just putting a character back into the sandbox for others to play with, so to speak. I think Parallax will turn up again somewhere, but I'm not expecting a direct continuation.
