Arriving today at your Local Comic Shop: Supergirl #17 and Action Comics #1102.

I cannot tell you if Booster Gold appears in either issue (parts 5 and 6 respectively of the nine-part "Kingdom of Zod" story), but I can tell you that he definitely appears *on* Action Comics. Since they both fit together as part of a larger image, you'll probably want to go ahead and get both anyway.

Buy at least one of these issues and make Skeets happy.

UPDATE: Booster Gold does not appear in either of these comics. But he *is* still on the cover of Action Comics. That's not nothing.

For whatever reason, "Kingdom of Zod" is taking a week off. This means you're unlikely to see Booster Gold today at your Local Comics Shop. Plan accordingly.

Is Booster Gold in today's 4th installment of the "Kingdom of Zod" storyline appearing in Superman #41? Buy it and find out.

(Or wait until after I visit my Local Comic Shop this afternoon/evening and update this post with the definitive answer. Spoilsport.)

UPDATE: Yep, he's in there. Given the ending, no promises about next week, though.

Last week Booster Gold surprised us a bit by turning up in Action Comics #1101. That issue was the second of nine parts in the "Kingdom of Zod" storyline that continues in this week's Superman Unlimited #16. The issue preview at AIPTComics.com makes it clear this one picks up where that one left off, so we can be pretty confident that Booster will be in this one, too.

UPDATE: He is. Three pages.

And, unless something changes, we might want to start anticipating Booster Gold appearing in some/all of the comics in the "Kingdom of Zod" event:

• Part 1: Supergirl #16 (no Booster Gold)
• Part 2: Action Comics #1101 (yes Booster Gold)
• Part 3: Superman Unlimited #16 (yes Booster Gold)
• Part 4: Superman #41 (August 26, 2026)

Buy at least these issues with Booster Gold in them and make Skeets happy.

Your Local Comic Shop will be selling Action Comics #1101 tomorrow. It seems likely, based on how Action Comics #1100 ended, that Booster will be in there. We've got to get Booster back to the present to reunite with Skeets sooner or later, right?

But the three-page preview at AIPTComics.com gives no indication one way or the other.
