Last week Booster Gold surprised us a bit by turning up in Action Comics #1101. That issue was the second of nine parts in the "Kingdom of Zod" storyline that continues in this week's Superman Unlimited #16. The issue preview at AIPTComics.com makes it clear this one picks up where that one left off, so we can be pretty confident that Booster will be in this one, too.

UPDATE: He is. Three pages.

And, unless something changes, we might want to start anticipating Booster Gold appearing in some/all of the comics in the "Kingdom of Zod" event:

• Part 1: Supergirl #16 (no Booster Gold)
• Part 2: Action Comics #1101 (yes Booster Gold)
• Part 3: Superman Unlimited #16 (yes Booster Gold)
• Part 4: Superman #41 (August 26, 2026)
• Part 5: Supergirl #17 (September 2026)
• Part 6: Action Comics #1102 (September 2026 with Booster Gold on the cover)
• Part 7: Superman Unlimited #17 (September 2026)
• Part 8: Superman #42 (September 2026)
• Part 9: Superman: Kingdom of Zod Special #1 (September 30, 2026)

Buy at least these issues with Booster Gold in them and make Skeets happy.

Your Local Comic Shop will be selling Action Comics #1101 tomorrow. It seems likely, based on how Action Comics #1100 ended, that Booster will be in there. We've got to get Booster back to the present to reunite with Skeets sooner or later, right?

But the three-page preview at AIPTComics.com gives no indication one way or the other.

I'll keep you posted.

Today is the fifth Wednesday in the month of July, so as is usual for DC Comics, the books being released today are mostly one-shots and annuals. Among them is Superman Annual Year One Thousand #1, which promises to finally spill the beans about what Superman has been up to since wining the King Omega Tournament.

We already learned in last week's Action Comics #1100 that Booster Gold will save Superman at the end of time, so the question this week is whether any of that will be seen in Superman Annual Year One Thousand. Find out by visiting your Local Comic Shop.

The online preview of today's "landmark issue" Action Comics #1100 doesn't give any indication whether Booster Gold will be in this issue. I'll be buying it anyway, so I'll keep you posted.

The online preview also gives no indication whether Booster will be in today's Superman #40. Given how often he's sneaked his way into the background of recent issues, it's not impossible he'll show up there again sooner or later.

However, the online preview of today's Green Lantern #37 reveals that Booster Gold is definitely making an appearance in that issue, at least for a few panels:

Er, to be clear, that's Booster in the poster advertising Booster Boost energy drink, not the guy going to the door. Which is good. That guy isn't going to be around much longer. To see what I mean, read the preview at AIPTComics.com.
