New Release: DC KO 1
DC's latest event book, DC K.O. #1, arrives at your Local Comic Shop today. According to preview pages at BleedingCool.com, Booster Gold is in it.
He is also on it. He can be seen fighting Jaime Reyes on the back of Scott Koblish's wraparound cover.
The bad news is this cover, officially "Cover L Scott Koblish DC Showcase Wraparound Foil Variant," just one of 45 that I am aware of, has a cover price of $24.99, the highest of all the non-incentive variant covers. (Technically, the incentive variants have no price on their covers, so I guess you could say they are all "priceless.")
And lest you think that you can circumvent that price point by gambling on getting the Cover N Scott Koblish Blind Bag Foil Variant in a $9.99 polybagged "Blind Bag," beware that the Blind Bag version is the Booster Gold-free front cover only. So $25 or bust if you're collecting Booster Gold covers.
Buy this issue and make Skeets happy (if only because it gets us one step closer to finding out where Skeets is).

Coming Soon: New History
DC released its monthly solicitations for August late last week, and Booster Gold (and Skeets!) was seen again, this time on the $9.99 variant Scott Koblish wraparound cover for New History of the DC Universe #3.
(I'm a little embarrassed to admit how many of these characters I can name on sight.)
NEW HISTORY OF THE DC UNIVERSE #3
Written by MARK WAID
Art by DOUG MAHNKE and DAN JURGENS
Legacy variant cover by SCOTT KOBLISH
$5.99 US | 48 pages | 3 of 4 | Wraparound variant $9.99 US (card stock)
ON SALE 8/27/25
Following the cataclysmic events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, the DC Universe is forever changed. Torches are passed as legacy heroes like Wally West embrace the mantles of their predecessors, heroes like Hal Jordan are tempted by darkness, and the Justice League faces formidable new threats such as Doomsday, Black Hand, and Superboy-Prime. Narrator Barry Allen recaps these events through his return, ending with the cataclysmic Flashpoint!
Given that this issue is focused entirely on events that took place between Crisis on Infinite Earths and Flashpoint (a period of time in which its narrator, Barry Allen, was *ahem* dead), plus that fact that Dan Jurgens credited on art, I think it's very, very likely that Booster will also be seen between the covers as well.
Also in the solicitations is a third volume of Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle reprints, which will include all of Jaime's backup stories from Booster Gold volume 2 and, importantly for Booster boosters, his Blackest Night team-up with Booster Gold against... Dead Ted! (As originally presented in Booster Gold Volume 2 #26 and #27.)
A complete list of August solicitations can be found at AIPTcomics.com. Thanks to all who made sure I saw these.

One-Man Convention Season
When we last left Cort's Booster Gold sketchbook, Cort had promised new pieces soon. He wasn't kidding!
The four newest hotnesses:
Kalman Andrasofsky
Mike Manley
Staz Johnson
Scott Koblish
Cort, I'm starting to think that you're spending more money creating Booster Gold art than DC is these days. Keep up the good work!
As always, you can see all these and more at imgur.com.

Blue and Gold, Best Friends Forever
Curious what enduring friendship looks like? Look no further than DC Cybernetic Summer #1, "Boys of Summer by Heath Corson, Scott Koblish, et al.
Blue and Gold Now:
+1 Year:

+20 Years:
+30 Years:
+40 Years:
Unapologetically silly and sincere, this is my favorite kind of super hero comic story. The way comics are packaged and sold these days, it could only appear in one of DC's seasonal anthology books, so a hearty thanks to DC Cybernetic Summer for making the space for it.
If you don't have your own yet, inquire at your Local Comic Shop. This comic is 100% Boosterrific.

New Release: DC Cybernetic Summer
Released yesterday to a Local Comic Shop near you: DC Cybernetic Summer #1, including Booster Gold & Blue Beetle [and Skeets] in "The Boys of Summer" by Heath Corson, Scott Koblish, Hi-Fi, and Carlos M. Mangual.
CBR.com has the issue preview, but with Skeets on the cover, I'm sure you don't need it. (Which is good, because neither Booster nor Skeets is actually in the preview. Just Batman. Because Batman = DC Comics. I mean, who else would they let drive that Metal Men Jeep? Superman doesn't even own a car. Speaking of which, who formed the tires? It must be that newest Metal Man: Steel-Belted Radials.)
Buy this issue and make Skeets happy.
