Tell Me What You Want
I'm sure that everyone who voted wants both a comic book series and a television show. Let's keep our fingers crossed that we get at least one of the two before the end of the year.
Last week's poll question: Which rumored upcoming Booster Gold project are you more excited about? (45 votes)
This week I've been catching up on my backlog of fan art posts. The hard part isn't finding Booster Gold art, the hard part is deciding which piece to post next. So I ask you, what do you prefer seeing?

Heard It Through the Grapevine
When you put Captain America in a poll of fan favorites, there's a pretty good chance he's going to come in first. (Curt, just go ahead and pretend that General Glory won.)
Last week's poll question: Who is your favorite time-displaced hero in comics (besides Booster Gold)? (51 votes)
It's been a busy week for Booster Gold fans. First Bleeding Cool breaks the news that DC is working on the Booster Gold volume 3 comic book. Then Andrew Kreisberg told @UniversoDC1 on Twitter that the latest pilot script for the Booster Gold television show is going to SyFy "next week." Big Booster Gold comic and TV news in one week? Whoo-hoo!

New Booster Gold Series Definitely Happening
Saturday, Rich Jonhston posted the following at BleedingCool.com:
Coming out from the Greenest Night celebration last night in Los Angeles for the work of Geoff Johns on Green Lantern, comes the news gathered by some that we are to expect a Booster Gold series in the imminent future from DC Comics.
No word on concept, or creators.
Is there any truth to this rumor? Bleeding Cool does not shy away from admitting that it is full of an unidentified jumble of "news, gossip and rumour." Which category best fits this story?
The veracity of the article was challenged on Twitter, but Johnston defended the statement as "passed by relevant people at DC and DC PR before publication." Defending an unsourced rumor as coming from "relevant people" is probably not the best way to build confidence.
This is not even the first time this year that a new Booster Gold comic has been teased at Bleeding Cool. Whether that makes this news more or less believable is further matter for debate.
I want to believe that it is true (for obvious reasons). Therefore, until DC confirms or denies, I'm going to assume that Booster Gold Volume 3 will be coming to my Local comic Shop later this year.

I WANT TO BELIEVE
Charles Skaggs, writer of many things including a handful of DC comics, has speculated on his "DAMN Good Coffee... and HOT!" blog that there will soon be a third volume of Booster Gold comics drawn by Kevin Maguire.
Like all good conspiracy theorists, Skaggs draws this conclusion from a variety of sources, none of which alone quite indicates anything of the sort. It wouldn't be the first bit of wishful thinking from Booster Gold fans on the subject.
I'm inclined to be skeptical, but who would have ever heard of Booster Gold if he had let facts get in the way of a good story? This is the Internet Age; facts are no longer necessary for drawing conclusions!
Obviously Skaggs' is on to something here. After all, with a connection to DC Comics, he might be in a position to know more than he's letting on! To be safe, fans should start saving now for Booster Gold Volume 3, coming soon to a comic shop near you!
(If you're more of an Agent Scully-type than an Agent Mulder, you can read Skaggs' original research on his blog at charlesskaggs.blogspot.com.)

What the Flashpoint?
WonderCon 2013 was this past weekend, and DC went ahead and made it official that Booster Gold will be guest-starring in All-Star Western #19-21. Our pal Russ Burlingame at ComicBook.com reports writer Jimmy Palmiotti's quote from the "DC All Access Panel" yesterday:
In the next issue of Jonah Hex, we have a special guest... running around with Jonah Hex will be none other than Booster Gold.
You can read details from the whole panel at Newsarama.com, but the fact that Booster will be in All-Star Western isn't really new news. However, something else I found reported from WonderCon is a little more exciting.
AnotherMealTicket.com reports that the "f" in the "WTF" issues appearing this month from DC will stand for "Flashpoint," and it seems that Booster won't just be travelling across the DCU, he'll be remembering it:
...Inside sources at DC were overheard this weekend at WonderCon 2013 saying we should expect to see plenty of the mysterious Pandora and finally hear Booster Gold admit that he remembers the old DC Universe!
It's about time! Thanks to MetalWoman and Morgenstern for posting the news in the Boosterrific Forum.
UPDATE 2013-04-01: More info at BleedingCool.com.
