Three Consecutive Issues of Brave and Gold
I'm beginning to wonder if anyone loves comics books as much as Ross Pearsall, whose Super-Team Family cross-company team-up covers continue to amaze and delight.
Sometimes, I think Ross is making covers just for my personal amusement. Take, for example, these three consecutive covers he released late in January (click on any of the images to visit the original, with Ross's notes, at braveandboldlost.blogspot.com):
I sure hope that the recently announced Superman/Spider-Man crossover is a huge success. I could really use a comic in which Booster Gold tries to straighten out the history of the Marvel Universe.

No News Day
I hadn't created a post for yesterday because I was hoping we might get some upcoming solicitations. But that hasn't happened, and looking at the calendar, I see that I'm off by a week. Oops. I'll blame the lingering holidays hangover for this oversight. Sorry about that.
As consolation, here's a reimagining of Booster Gold by French artist Franck Sabatier that made the Internet rounds last week:
I'm not sure about that hair, but turning the gold on the chest, shoulders, and back into a five-pointed star is a clever idea.

Robo Force Action Figure Playset
Earlier this month, Ross Pearsall's Super-Team Family reached it's 5000th issue. (Take that, Action Comics!) The "super spectacular" celebratory issue cover was accompanied by several advertisements for in-universe television shows, board games, and action figures, including the playset for one of STF's best teams, the robots-only Robo Force with Booster Gold's sidekick, Skeets!
Do yourself a favor and ring out 2025 with a visit to braveandboldlost.blogspot.com to see all the brilliant content of this truly milestone issue of inter-company crossovers inspired by the comic books of yesteryear.

Mining for Gold
I've showcased custom Booster Gold Minecraft skins before. (Several times, actually.) But after recently watching the A Minecraft Movie, I got to wondering if anyone out there was still making them.
I'm happy to report that the answer is yes.
These are just the "Booster Gold" skins I found from one of my old bookmarks to The Skindex at minecraftskins.com:
Cross-tagged Blue Beetle? I'll allow it.
Those are all certainly Boosterrific, but what really impressed me was found on a rival site, planetminecraft.com:

Who needs a computer when they can have their own square Skeets?

The Blot's One of a Kind Sketchbook
Got a note from The Blot last week with a little something special attached.
Got an exciting new sketch in my Booster Gold sketchbook I wanted to share with you and all the Booster Boosters. Got to meet Image Comics founder Marc Silvestri at Houston's Comicpalooza last weekend. He was doing a limited amount of remarques, but said he'd do one in my sketchbook! So I jumped at the chance to get a little Booster by a comic book legend. Marc said he'd never drawn Booster before but he did a pretty good job! It’s cool to see him in Silvestri's unique line work.

The only Booster Gold drawing by Marc Silvestri in the entire world?! That's pretty Boosterrific, Blot.
Image Comics was founded in 1992 by Erik Larsen, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvesti, and Jim Valentino. Blot now has Booster Gold sketches by two of them (the other is Liefeld). Five to go!
