Going out of Business
The algorithms that run the Internet have decided that I'm the target audience for the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video game. Despite it being a game built on DC Comic book super heroes, they are wrong.
I didn't care for Injustice or DCeased or DC Vs. Vampires, so It probably won't surprise you that I am not interested in playing as a villain and assassinating the heroes of the DC Universe. But GameRant.com has proven that it isn't entirely without value.
Booster Gold International has been out of business since Millennium in 1988, so I guess the events of Kill the Justice League must take place on an alternate Earth, perhaps one where Millennium never happened (or one where the Manhunters won?).
That's still not enough to make me want to roleplay as an unrepentantly psychopathic murderer with a bomb in my head, but I can't say that Kill the Justice League has nothing going for it anymore.

Digital Card Sharps
Longtime Booster booster Morgenstern writes in to alert me that the DC Comics-themed digital trading card game (TCG) DC Dual Force from Cryptozoic Entertainment has finally been released, and that the game has a Booster Gold card — and also a Skeets card!
About all I know about the game is what I've read on DCDualForce.com, where you can find a database of cards. The reviews on SteamPowered.com aren't great, but it is a new game, and there are always bugs in new games. Maybe after a few updates, it will be a must-play, and gamers everywhere will have a Booster Gold in their digital hand.
In the meantime, it's kind of a fun game just to identify the source material from which the cards took their images. (In these cases, the covers of Booster Gold #32 and 52 Week Two, respectively.)
Thanks, Morgenstern.

The Drip
Last Friday, Outright Games released the new DC Comics-based video game, Justice League: Cosmic Chaos, on most major platforms. I haven't played it yet, but I have learned that Booster Gold is in it.
That's the artwork that accompanies the "The Drip" achievement for the Xbox One & Xbox Series X/S version of the game. According to xboxachievements.com, you earn it when you "Get your first costume from Booster Gold."
I didn't know the game existed before the weekend, but if it's got Booster in the game — and Skeets in the artwork! — I'll definitely have to add it to my wish list.

Skeets Is Also a Great Cereal Mascot
The final issue of Human Target is out this week, and it's not impossible that UPDATE: Rob Snow assures us that Booster Gold puts in an appearance.
Booster might also pop up this week near Ted Kord in Blue Beetle: Graduation Day — UPDATE: he's actually in the House Ad for Lazarus Planet Omega — or referenced by Rip Hunter and his original team of Time Masters in Stargirl: The Lost Children — UPDATE: he's not, but another rarely seen time-displaced Leaguer is.
One place I wouldn't normally think to look for Booster is in the pages of this week's Batman: Gotham Knights: Gilded City, the comic tie-in to the Gotham Knights video game. Booster isn't often in Gotham City, but he is in the game. Or at least Skeets is.
Obviously, Flakies was the first cereal that Booster Gold ever endorsed way back in 1985 (in Booster Gold #2), and its great to see that they're still in business.
Gotham Knights takes place in an alternate universe where Batman is dead, so while it shouldn't come as a surprise that their cereal is star-shaped, I do have to wonder why they're called "Flakies" if the cereal itself isn't made of flakes? What kind of universe is this?
Thanks to friend James for spotting these boxes in game on top of Barbara Gordon's refrigerator.

Just Two of the Guys
Another thing spotted this week on Twitter:
I'd say that was supposed to be Booster Gold, Skeets, Jaime Reyes, and Khaji Da (together known as the Blue Beetle), but the tweet explicitly says there are only two "characters" there, so I must be wrong.
Looking at dcheroesandvillains.com, I see that DC Heroes & Villains is a puzzle RPG game (like Puzzle Quest?) being created by JamCity and Ludia for mobile devices that will be released... sometime in the future. Cool. That means I haven't missed anything yet.
I'll have to start paying attention to its progress. Maybe one of these days, they'll finally tell me who those two guys are.
Thanks to Logan Peterson for alerting me that this might interest Booster boosters.
