If you were unaware (as I was), there is a DC Comics squad-based strategy RPG F2P mobile video game called DC Worlds Collide. I've not played it myself, so I'll have to point you to dcworldscollidegame.com for even basic information.

The reason I mention this game that I have not played is because this week Booster Gold (and Skeets!) was added as a playable character.

Booster Gold Legendary Character Announcement

Booster Gold is a Legendary Support Hero who turns Shock into a powerful tool for controlling the pace of battle. His attacks rapidly build shock on enemies, while Skeets targets the most heavily Shocked opponent to Knock them Back, trigger their Shock damage, and interfere with their Ultimate and Advanced Skills. His Ultimate takes things even further by rewinding time, hitting and Knocking Back the entire enemy team while restoring damage Booster Gold has recently taken.

Booster Gold also brings a new Team Synergy built around Shock-focused teams. As more of the synergy is unlocked, allies become stronger, Shock deals more damage and stays on enemies longer, and Knockback becomes even more rewarding by allowing Shock damage to trigger an additional time. Combined with his ability to resist Knockback, counterattack enemies who try it, and regularly provide defensive buffs to his team, Booster Gold keeps the Shock engine moving while making life considerably harder for the opposition.

His Badge, Team Manager, further enhances Product Placement and rewards teams that manipulate the Action Bar, turning Booster Gold into an even stronger source of healing, tempo, and Energy.

- Product Placement also heals his team for 10% of their Max HP
- Using Goldstar Gambit progresses all allies by 15% on the Action Bar
- When allies progress on the Action Bar due to a skill, add 1 Energy

Dates & Details

- Increased change to obtain Booster Gold from August 28 (UTC) through September 03 (UTC) in the Event Mother Box! Within 150 Recruitments, at least one Legendary character is guaranteed. Whenever you earn a Legendary character in the Event Mother Box, that character has a 100% chance to be Booster Gold.

- Sometime after the event, Booster Gold will be added to the Legendary and Weekly Recruitment Mother Boxes.

That sounds good, I guess. I have no idea what a Shock-focused team looks like — Black Lightning? Lightning Lad? Static? Jenny Sparks? Electric Superman? — but I'm tickled green to see Booster has an ability called "Product Placement" that heals people. Capitalism for the win!
