No New Releases (June 2014 Edition)
I'm not trying to ruin anyone's week, but DC has released its solicitations for June, and as you can tell from the list at Newsarama.com, Booster Gold is nowhere to be seen. No solo title, no guest appearances, no nothing. Are we on the cusp of another long Booster Gold drought?
My favorite solicitation for June is the also rumored Infinity Man and the Forever People. Quote:
"Don't miss the start of this new series by Dan DiDio and Keith Giffen, the team that brought you the over-the-top adventures of O.M.A.C.!"
Why is it a selling point that the creators' last effort was among the first batch of cancellations following the New 52 relaunch? Sounds to me like we shouldn't expect more than 8 issues of Infinity Man. Maybe that will open up a slot for Booster Gold next February.
Thanks to Morgenstern for passing along the news in the Boosterrific Forum.

The Blog That Cried Wolf
I asked last week's question because I was wondering how many of you were enjoying Arrow. Several of my non-comic reading friends love it, but I just can't seem to get into it.
Last week's poll question: Which series makes the best template for a Booster Gold television show? (50 votes)
I don't consider myself a journalist, but I don't like posting unsubstantiated rumors and avoid them whenever possible. If you sent me an anonymous email and told me that you knew Geoff Johns was going to be bringing back Skeets in an issue of Aquaman, I wouldn't mention it here without some form of corroboration. However, I make an exception from time to time when a rumor promotes something I want to see, like a new Booster Gold series. I trust that in such cases my audience can make a rational decision about the validity of the rumor.

Stop Me if You've Heard This One
DC will launch a Booster Gold ongoing comic this June. Or so MultiversityComics.com says an anonymous source told them.
Is this true? I'm sure DC is trying just as hard to get a Booster Gold book to market this year as they were when this rumor circulated about this time last year (*ahem*, *ahem*). If we just keep repeating it, one of these days we'll be proved prescient.

Buying What He's Selling
Better late than never.
Last week's poll question: Do you think DC will make a Booster Gold movie before 2015? (54 votes)
Some pitchmen aren't appropriate for some products. For example, you'd hardly want Charlie Sheen to endorse your health food products, would you? Likewise, Booster Gold is better suited for some endorsements rather than others.

The Golden Age of Cinema
One day, we will tell our grandchildren that we used to read comic books printed on paper about a character named Booster Gold. They'll probably look at us like we're making things up.
Last week's poll question: What do Booster Gold fans have to give thanks for in 2013? (44 votes)
1.) Booster Gold turns 30 in 2015.
2.) There's a rumor going around that DC wants to start producing more low budget movies about B-list heroes.
