Year in Review 2024
Presenting the 5 most-read Boosterrific.com blog posts of 2024!
5. Monday, February 5: New Release: How to Lose a Guy Gardner
In which we discover that Booster Gold had his own story in the DC's How to Lose a Guy Gardner In 10 Days holiday anthology (and it was delightful).
4. Friday, August 30: My Favorite Pages: Justice League Intl Special
In which we laugh along with Booster Gold and his BFF Ted Kord preparing for the theater in Justice League International Special #1, page 8.
3. Monday, June 10: The Return and Return of Robo Force
In which we showcase two (!) "Robo Force" covers featuring a team of robots including Booster Gold's sidekick, Skeets, from Ross Pearsall's superlative Super-Team Family Presents.. imaginary team up books from braveandboldlost.blogspot.com.
2. Monday, February 26: Sooner to Be New Release: Blue Beetle
In which we learn that Blue Beetle Volume 5 scribe Josh Trujillo considers Booster Gold to be a 12 out of 10 on the fun-to-write scale. (I wish he'd share that news with whoever isn't writing Booster Gold comics these days.)
1. Monday, September 23: It's Not Easy Being Green
In which we note that Booster Gold's appearance on the cover of Justice League of America Volume 2 #7 has been turned into a poster available on Amazon.com. According to analytics, this post got an aberrantly huge number of hits, and I cannot for the life of me imagine why unless Amazon was backtracking the link many, many times. Whatever the reason, I will not deny that everyone can use more Booster Gold on their walls!
Here's to another Boosterrific year in 2025!

It's Not Easy Being Green
Heidi recently sent me an email drawing my attention to this:
www.amazon.com/Trends-International-Comics-Poster-22-375/dp/B071H795T5/
Although the listing does not make it clear, this poster is based on the cover of Justice League of America Volume 2, #7 (2007). As you can see, it's got Booster Gold on it alongside other male members of the Justice League international. (Poor Fire and Ice!)
Justice League of America #7 is already listed here in the Boosterrific.com Database. Given that this poster is "MADE IN THE USA and OFFICIALLY LICENSED" (and makes no attempt to connect it to the original source), I should probably also put this in the Boosterrific.com "Other Media" section. I already list reprint volumes, and this is sort of the same thing, isn't it?
Thanks to Heidi for making sure I was aware of this.

Better Late Than Never
I'm a little late to post this, as the edition now seems to be entirely sold out, but that's no reason not to marvel that such a Boosterrific poster as this exists in the world.
That's the Warner Bros officially licensed Justice League Unlimited poster by Dave Perillo released via Grey Matter Art back in May. There were two editions, the normal one you see above and a foil edition. The Blot has pictures of both on Twitter.com.
Sorry about that, everybody. I'll try to pay better attention ion the future.

New Release: Action Comics 1000
In case you haven't heard, you'll find the 1000th issue of Action Comics at your Local Comic Shop today. The issue is a celebration not just of Superman, but also all the very talented writers and artists who have toiled for the last 80 years to bring comic book fans joy and inspiration.
Booster Gold creator Dan Jurgens is one of those writer/artists. Jurgens not only drew the first appearance of Superman in the 1980s post-Crisis on Infinite Earths DC Universe (in Booster Gold #6!), he was instrumental in bringing us the death and return of Superman in the 1990s. As part of the celebration, he also pencilled one of the 11 different Action Comics #1000 covers!
As if that's not enough reason to celebrate, DC has also released a poster containing all 1000 Action Comics covers. That means it's also a Booster Gold poster! Decades before showing up on the cover of his recent team-up in Action Comics #993, Booster Gold got the better of Superman on the cover of Action Comics #594!
Here's to 1000 more adventures of Superman to come.
UPDATE: SuperPat dropped by the comments to tell us that Booster does make an appearance in Action Comics #1000! Everybody is getting in on the celebration!

Nothing Says Etsy Like a Chibi Blue and Gold
Blue and Gold are back together everywhere, baby!
Blue and Gold and Fire and Ice? (And isn't that Wally West's belt?) That is my Justice League!
This poster, created for MegaCon by artist Jerry Gaylord and colorist Gabriel Cassata, is just one of two different 11x17 Justice League poster prints that include Booster Gold and Blue Beetle currently for sale in Gaylord's Etsy.com store, theFranchizeStore. (There are only 86 days until Christmas, hint, hint!)
