PESL SIGHTING: The citizens of Metropolis have assembled in Centennial Park to celebrate Superman Day! And some of them aren't very neat. Behind a discarded Daily Planet newspaper littered on the sidewalk is a piece of paper. The only legible writing on that paper is the word "PESL".

Booster Gold and Skeets arrive on stage with many, many other heroes of the DC Universe to give Superman a rousing cheer. (The last time Booster attended the Superman Day festival in Action Comics #594, things didn't go so well.) While Booster has worked with many of these heroes before, this is Booster's first on-panel appearance with Superman's son Jon Kent, Metropolis Mayor Barnes, Kid Flash III, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, and, surprisingly, Harley Quinn. (What's she doing here?) This is Booster's only appearance in this issue.
