Dan Jurgens Talks Booster Gold
Morgenstern hasn't bought a DC comic in months, but he's still trolling the web for Booster Gold. And today he's found for us Dan Jurgens talking Booster Gold with Con Men at the 2013 Phoenix Comicon.
Asked whether or not Jurgens thinks Booster's pre-Flashpoint DCU memories survived the transition to the New 52 DCnU, he says, "[Booster] was outside time and space. Draw your own conclusions.... I think it's pretty clear."
Thanks, Morgenstern. (Also thanks to Con Men Interviews and, of course, Dan Jurgens!)

Too Awesome to Be a Real Thing
Booster booster Morgenstern points our attention to this Boosterrific piece of apparel:
While the designer Prathik Paramesh does make and sale some real hoodies via Coyote Pop (his last batch was inspired by Nightwing), this one is sadly just a concept.
You can find much more of Prathik's awesome designs work at Deviant Art.

Start Saving Today
It looks like gamers are soon to be getting a double dose of Booster Gold.
As noted last week by the Irredeemable Shag! at FirestormFan.com, Booster will be included in the New 52-inspired Justice League Chess Set being produced a piece at a time by Eaglemoss. Booster will be a pawn in the set, but so will be Captain Marvel Shazam, Supergirl, and Power Girl, so at least he has some pretty good company. Eaglemoss has already given us one awesome Booster Gold figure, so there is a firm foundation to expect a great Booster Gold chess piece whenever it is released.
The other place we'll be seeing Booster Gold is as a playing card in the Heroes Unite expansion for the DC Comics Deck-Building Game. ICv2.com has details about the game itself, and BleedingCool.com speculates that this was the project that the R.B. Silva Instagram pictures were teasing back in January. Whether that is true or not, odds are that this, too, will feature Booster in his New 52 togs.
No dates or pics yet for either product, but hopefully both will be available before the end of the year, so plan ahead and start saving now, Boosterphiles!
(Thanks to Shag and Morgenstern for pointing these out.)

What the Flashpoint?
WonderCon 2013 was this past weekend, and DC went ahead and made it official that Booster Gold will be guest-starring in All-Star Western #19-21. Our pal Russ Burlingame at ComicBook.com reports writer Jimmy Palmiotti's quote from the "DC All Access Panel" yesterday:
In the next issue of Jonah Hex, we have a special guest... running around with Jonah Hex will be none other than Booster Gold.
You can read details from the whole panel at Newsarama.com, but the fact that Booster will be in All-Star Western isn't really new news. However, something else I found reported from WonderCon is a little more exciting.
AnotherMealTicket.com reports that the "f" in the "WTF" issues appearing this month from DC will stand for "Flashpoint," and it seems that Booster won't just be travelling across the DCU, he'll be remembering it:
...Inside sources at DC were overheard this weekend at WonderCon 2013 saying we should expect to see plenty of the mysterious Pandora and finally hear Booster Gold admit that he remembers the old DC Universe!
It's about time! Thanks to MetalWoman and Morgenstern for posting the news in the Boosterrific Forum.
UPDATE 2013-04-01: More info at BleedingCool.com.

The Cat Is out of the Bag
Earlier this week in the Boosterrific Forum, Booster booster Morgenstern pointed out that Comixology.com was telling us what DCComics.com would only tease. Specifically that Booster Gold will be the guest star in All-Star Western #20.
The official solicitation for All-Star Western #20 from DC (as found on their website here) reads:
"The future collides with the past in this issue as [REDACTED] causes problems for Jonah Hex. And in the backup story, a never before seen Stormwatch team takes the spotlight!"
Comixology's version of the solicitation for the issue (as found on their website here) has one small but specific difference:
"The future collides with the past in this issue as time traveler Booster Gold causes problems for Jonah Hex. And in the backup story, a never before seen Stormwatch team takes the spotlight!"
Did you catch that? It sure looks like Booster will be the cover surprise for All-Star Western #19!
Russ Burlingame gives his take on the story over at comicbook.com, spreading the word of Booster's return far and wide. Now's the time for those of you who called that to say "I told you so!"
Thanks, Morgenstern.
