Some days, like when we know there's a comic book with a Booster Gold appearance coming out, it's easy to come up with content for the Boosterrific Blog. Other days, like today, it's harder.

I'm sure I could dig up something. (The Internet is a big place.) But today I don't really feel like putting in the necessary effort. So in fairness to you, dear reader, let me explain why.

This blog was created for two reasons:

1) as a catch-all for noteworthy Booster Gold news and events that don't qualify to be cataloged elsewhere on this site, and

2) to provide a regular dose of new content to drive site traffic so that traffic can be monetized.

Since Boosterrific.com no longer serves any paying ads (admittedly in part because I was never able to create enough clickbait to generate enough site traffic to make that effort worthwhile), driving up visitor metrics isn't much of a motivator for me anymore.

That leaves me with only reason 1. And today, I'm not seeing any Booster Gold news or events that I consider noteworthy. Sure, there's yet another new rumor out there about the long-in-the-works "Booster Gold" television show's writing staff, but I prefer to leave the rumormongering to others.

Maybe things will be different next week. In the meantime, thanks for visiting.

A recent issue of Ross Pearsall's long-running series of Super-Team Family team-up books featured a new adventure of "Robo Force," the team of robots that includes Skeets as a member!

Looking through the archives at braveandboldlost.blogspot.com, I realized I had missed a previous Robo Force cover with Skeets:

Booster Gold is seen on just two pages of Justice League Europe #7. Therefore, I would normally skip this issue and head straight for part three of "The Teasdale Imperative" JLA/JLE crossover story. But his one page is a pretty fun one, so here you go:

Speaking of Blot, he also recently shared with me the latest addition to his collection of Booster Gold commissions:

Matt Kaufenberg has been doing these amazing super hero drawings in the style of the retro ABC Books. You can see a lot of examples on his Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/mattkaufenberg] and online store. He was doing them for fun and selling them, but then opened a few commission spots so you could pick your own super hero. So you know I had to get a Booster! Hope your readers enjoy.

I do enjoy! I think it's remarkable how Booster's original 1980s costume design by Dan Jurgens works so well in such a wide variety of art styles.

The Blot has alerted us that in anticipation of the imminent release of the DC HeroClix: Masters of Time set in July, the WizKids website now has an image of the set's new Booster Gold figure!

Hmm, those are some thick boots. But at least it's not the New 52 costume.

Interestingly, other pictured figures in this set include Animal Man, who has a costume styled similarly to Booster's, and Mister Mind, who has an, um, complicated relationship with Skeets. (See: 52 Week 51.)
