Line It Is Drawn Absolutely
We ended last week with a comic book you can't have, so let's start this week with another.
This was artist Rod Allen's contribution to last week's CBR.com's "Line it is Drawn" call for more entries for DC's Absolute line. Yeah, the costumes are over the top, but isn't that the point?
Great job, Rod. I absolutely love it.

Game Over, Man
I'm sure you regularly visit Super-Team Family Presents... at braveandboldlost.blogspot.com, so you've probably already seen Ross Pearsall's latest cover for a Blue and Gold comic book that we'll never get to buy:
Issue #4562 and still just 60¢!
On the Internet, no one can hear you scream (unless their speakers are turned on).
I wonder where Ross will think to put Booster and Beetle next?

You Know, For Kids
Booster Gold is a character in the Teen Titans GO Figure! mobile video game. How do I know? (I mean, other than from the 2018 press release, obviously, because who doesn't read press releases?)
Answer: Because of Internet videos like this (cued to start at 2:48).

Also: this Reddit post.
Now we're all experts in what the kids are doing were doing six years ago. You're welcome.

This Isn't Helping
via threads.net
Technically, this isn't a denial that Nanjiani will be playing Booster Gold. This is a denial that Nanjiani has been confirmed as playing Booster Gold. (And a cautionary tale about reposting content you didn't originate on antisocial media in the Misinformation Age.)
Make of that what you will.

My Favorite Pages: JL Quarterly 1
After Booster Gold quit the Justice League in Justice League America #37, released February 13, 1990, it would be a while before he played any significant role in another comic book.
He appears in one panel of Mister Miracle #14, four panels of Animal Man #22, six panels in Justice League America #38, three panels in Time Masters #4 (covering the same ground as his appearance in Animal Man #22). He is briefly at the funeral for Mister Miracle in Justice League America#40 and Mister Miracle #17. He appears in one panel of a dream sequence in Justice League America#41, has several entries in the 1990 loose-leaf edition of Who's Who in the DC Universe, and shows up in just a couple of panels of Mister Miracle #19.
It wouldn't be until November 6, 1990, before Booster Gold returned to a significant role, as leader of the Conglomerate in Justice League Quarterly #1.
Justice League Quarterly #1 is one of my favorite comics, and easily ranks among "The 12 Best Booster Gold Stories Ever." Which is why it is so hard for me to pick out just one page as my favorite of the issue.
If you were to put a Booster Shot to my head, I suppose I'd have to go with page 13.
Golly, I love this comic.
