As last seen in the epilogue of Summer of Superman Special #1, here in the epilogue of this story, Booster Gold remains chained on a wall by the Dark Legion of Superheroes (Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl). Saturn Girl calls him "the most important person in time and space." Which Booster boosters already knew!

LIQUIFIED TIME: Saturn Girl also reveals Booster's trip through the portal in DC All In Special #1 imbued him with Omega Energy, "the same energy our master used to create our world." (As previously hinted in Summer of Superman, this would again seem to indicate that these Dark Legionnaires are originally from the alternate universe Alpha World but have relocated to "the future" of Prime Earth for nefarious purposes. So what happened to the Legion of Super-Heroes of Prime Earth?) Being imbued with Omega Energy is what turned the Challengers of the Unknown into agents of destruction in the recently truncated Challengers of the Unknown mini-series. Does the same fate await Booster Gold?

Despite Walter's speculation, I figure that we woulda seen some sign of it during his monologue back a few months ago if he was gonna go berserker. Not that anyone would blame the man if he did. Several months (going by the length of his hair) of hanging by one's wrists has gotta be hell on the shoulders, back and neck, I would also probably go completely ape*%^# in those circumstances.
--not literally ape*%^#, though. Because this is a PG-13 rated site.
Anyway, three stars for acknowledging Booster's existence. Less than five because he's not in it more. 🤣 Mixed feelings on not!Saturn Girl being creepy towards him, because for once, it's NOT being depicted as funny or sexy, and if it's intended to make the reader's (me, I'm the reader) skin crawl, then it succeeded spectacularly.
