New Release: Flash 799
Don't let that headline mislead you; I'm not expecting to see Booster Gold in this week's The Flash #799. But as the issue preview now available at AIPTComics.com demonstrates, we will definitely be seeing Gold Beetle:
As I said a few weeks ago, I'm expecting we'll see Gold Beetle again on June 6 in The Flash's "extra-sized" final issue #800. (Don't worry, DC is restarting Flash with a whole new number one in September... because, um, the number one is cooler.)
What I was NOT expecting, and what I learned from reading the Flash #800 preview also already online at AIPTComics.com, is that the issue will feature an appearance by Booster Gold's long-lost second foe, Mindancer!
I can't wait to find out what she's been up to for the last 37 years!

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder
Bad news first: DC's June 2023 solicitations are out at aiptcomics.cpom, and there's not a Booster Gold to be seen. That's 4 months and counting of no predictable appearances. This new "Dawn of DC" is looking less and less golden.
(Over the weekend, TwinCitiesGeek.com reported that Dan Jurgens has "started writing another Black Label project for DC" that "will be coming a little later yet this year." Seems unlikely that it'll be a Black Label Booster Gold story, but who knows?)
On the brighter side, while Booster is on hero hiatus, Boosterrific.com is better than ever thanks in no small part to J, who has spent an inordinate amount of time hunting down errors in the annotations and book details. Together, we're making things right that once went wrong.
Why, just this weekend, J discovered that the site was missing (count 'em!) two different Justice League Unlimited reprint volumes that contain Booster Gold adventures. Oops!
Shame on me for missing those, but hearty thanks to J for all the hard work. Booster boosters everywhere owe you a debt of gratitude. Keep up the good work!

New Release: DC Vs. Vampires 12 Cover C
Hey, DC, as someone who bought your product throughout the 1990s, let me say that I think you've forgotten the lessons we learned during the Dark Age of Comics, namely, "Thou Shalt Not Get Carried Away With Variant Covers."
This week alone, you're releasing 18 distinct books with at least 73 different covers! I love comics, but that's too many.
Booster Gold appears on exactly 1 of those covers, the 1:25 Filya Bratukhin retailer incentive card stock variant (Cover C) of DC Vs. Vampires #12.
I haven't seen all the interior pages (other than what is visible in the preview at AIPTComics.com), but is that Booster's New 52 costume? Do these damn vampires spill over into other alternate Earths? Please, no. Just no.
Elsewhere on this week's comic rack, Booster will also be found within the collected edition of Superman Red & Blue (reprinting his appearance in issue #3), Nightwing Volume 2: Get Grayson (reprinting Nightwing #88) and the second printing of Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Special (reprinting, um, Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Special).
Buy some (reprinted) comics and make Skeets happy.

New Release: DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War 6
As we learned in last week's Dark Crisis: The Big Bang, the DC Vampire-verse of DC Vs. Vampires is now officially Earth-63.
Judging by the events of that mini-series, it doesn't look like the remaining human heroes have much of a chance of surviving it. It's doubtful that Earth-63 will have a Booster Gold for much longer, so enjoy him while he lasts in this week's DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War #6, the series' final issue.
If you're so inclined, a preview of the issue is available at AIPTComics.com.
And if you do visit AIPTComics.com, you might want to take a peek at their preview of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7, the final issue of that mini-series. Booster Gold is in that, too. How big a part will it be considering that he, um, got hurt in issue #6? There's only one way to find out.
Buy a comic or two and make Skeets happy.

New Release: DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War 5
The preview at AIPTComics.com proves that Booster Gold still lives in the pages of DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War #5. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
More interesting to me is Booster's non-appearance on the cover of The Flash #788, or, more specifically, Todd Nauck's "90s Rewind" cardstock cover:
Obviously, those kids in the pool aren't really Blue and Gold, but they sure are dressing the part. Check out their deck art!
Ok, so that's not a very "90s" Skeets, but any Skeets is always better than none.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have the urge to go re-watch Gleaming the Cube.
UPDATE 2022-11-16: Booster also makes a cameo appearance in this week's Dark Crisis: Young Justice #6!
