New Release: Human Target 4
Human Target #4 is out today. The issue is essentially an extended interrogation of Ted Kord by Christopher Chance — interrupted occasionally by crime fighting with Ice! Booster Gold makes no appearance, but he sure gets talked about a lot.

words by Tom King, art by Greg Smallwood, letters by Clayton Cowles
I am officially on record as no fan of writer Tom King's characterizations, but golly, that seems like a very insightful conversation about a couple of characters that I am very, very familiar with. In fact, I liked this entire comic book in spite of my misgivings about King's work. (Greg Smallwood's art is no disappointment, either.)
Unrelated to that, may I offer special thanks to Booster booster J, who has recently been alerting me to typos here on the site. I'm fixing them as fast as I can, J! Thanks for bringing them to my attention; I appreciate your help in making Boosterrific.com better.

Famous Last Words
Boosterrific.com is, and is intended to be, a niche website for Booster Gold fans.
The comics lists and annotations are designed to provide information about the complete adventures of the character and his world, its creators, and its inhabitants. The goal of the blog is to capture all those Booster Gold references outside of comic books.
Those are all great, and I'm pretty happy with them. But the question I'm asking today is how could it be better?
What pieces of information about Booster's adventures am I missing? What else could I do that other sites don't? If you have any ideas, let me know.

Bisy Backson

Sorry, low content mode today as I'm still busy re-reading Blue and Gold #2 — now available at fine comic stores near you! Have you bought yours yet?

Fool Me Twice, Shame on DC
For the second week in a row, I went to my Local Comic Shop to buy books that DC says via their website should be available now only to discover after arriving that they were not actually released. Obviously, I'm making a mistake expecting DCComics.com to give me an accurate assessment of what they are making available each week.
So I'll consider this a lesson learned. From now on, I'll only trust release information reported by the website of DC's sole distributor, lunardistribution.com, (which only reports books shipping a few days in advance) and even then probably only after I have a book in my hand.
What that means for you, loyal Boosterrific.com visitor, is that release dates I have listed for upcoming new releases may not be accurate, even when I have taken that data from DC Comics itself. These sorts of scheduling problems shouldn't be a big surprise to any of you who have been buying comics for any length of time, but it's still worth a reminder.

Duck and Cover
Sorry, Booster boosters, but Boosterrific.com is no match for an angry mother nature.
A tornado came through my town at midnight last night, doing considerable damage. My family is fine. There have been no deaths reported as I'm typing this — let's hope that stat holds — but cable/Internet service bought it, limiting me to what I can post from my phone.
New posts will resume next week — weather permitting, of course. In the meantime, everyone go hug your families and count your blessings.
UPDATE 2021-03-29: Still no estimate on Internet restoration. The utility company says they're working on it, so I wait as patiently as I can manage.
By the way, I'm sad to report that the stat didn't hold. One man died in the immediate tornado aftermath. Local news says he was trying to make his way through the destruction on foot (as the roads were all blocked with fallen trees) to reach his daughter's house when he had a heart attack.
Tragedy like that sure puts an Internet outage in perspective.
