Fashion in Motion
The cosplayers you are about to see will not be new to you, but hopefully these videos of their exploits will be.
This first video is from Lumberjack Films at New York Comic Con 2012. I know Aaron Wahl and his award-winning costume have been featured here twice before, but I just thought everyone might like to hear the details and see the whole costume in action. Also, in his interview in episode 33 of the Fire and Water Podcast, Dan Jurgens said that he has never seen a Booster Gold cosplayer with a flying Skeets. Someone please get this video to Mr. Jurgens' attention.
This second video by Distractotron is an assemblage of DC cosplayers from DragonCon 2012. I know that I have shown you Shelley as Booster Gold before, but there is something to be gleaned from the sheer multitude of cosplayers assembling for this photo shoot. I know that cosplayers make up a small minority of fandom, but they really represent well. Congratulations to all involved.

Dressing Up for New York Comic Con 2012
I know you were waiting for cosplay pics from last week's New York Comic Con 2012. So here they are.

This picture was found at Kotaku.com. A man, his machine... It looks like there's love in the air. (Yes, we did meet this fellow earlier this year.)

The second picture of Bare Midriff Booster, Mister Miracle, Dr. Fate, and Bare Midriff Beetle comes by way of Uproxx.com (which credits its pic to by Steven Leung at Flickr.com). As much as I love seeing Mister Miracle, something about that mask is really giving me the creeps. But I love Booster's purse!

New Releases: JLI #12 & Batwing #12
Welcome to the Digital Age of comics, where you can try before you buy! Interested in how Dan Jurgens will wrap up his year on Justice League International? Take a look at DC Comics' 5-page preview before you travel to your Local Comic Shop! Curious how well the JLI will be integrated in Batwing? Check out the preview before downloading it at Comixology.com.
Whichever method you prefer, buy these issues and make Skeets happy! (Thanks to MetalWoman for the preview links.)
UPDATE 08/03/12: MetalWoman also dropped by the Boosterrific Forum to let us know that Booster puts in a surprise cameo appearance in Stormwatch #12 this week. And he's not alone: alongside the JLI is Skeets, in his first New 52 appearance!

Watercoloring with Tears
The best thing about fan art is that it gives us the opportunity to see things denied to us by official canon. Like NuBooster Gold and post-Crisis Blue Beetle.
Seeing the two together makes me suspect that perhaps DC won't bring Ted Kord back because Booster Gold is now wearing Ted's old pants.
This sepia-tinged watercolor (and its split-windshield Skeets, complete with rope ladder action!) was created by German artist therealRIZ. Riz has quite a bit of impressive, comic book-related work in his gallery at Deviant Art.

The War Against the Machines
So we won't be seeing Skeets before Justice League International draws to a close with issue #12. Maybe that's because our favorite sidekick is just too busy with its own adventures.
Sadly, this is another comic that should but doesn't exist, as brought to us by Super-Team Family ...The Lost Issues. This beauty would be worth the expense at ten times the cover price! (Thanks to The Irredeemable Shag of FirestormFan.com for the link.)
