The penultimate chapter of "The Tomorrow Memory" story was the winner in last week's poll, though not by overwhelming numbers. Thanks to all who voted.
Last week's poll question: What is the best single comic book that features Booster Gold? (43 votes)
While the results of last week's poll inspires a number of questions for future polls, there is a much more pressing question after this week's big news.

Is there an option for all 3?

Aw, now what fun would that be?

Last things first: the final episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold is scheduled to air tonight on Cartoon Network at 7:00 PM EST. Booster Gold is guaranteed to make an appearance at the end of the episode. Batman: The Brave and the Bold, you will be missed.
As for the weekly poll, Geoff Johns may have brought a lot of modern readers to Booster Gold, but the modern trend of 6-issue stories isn't even remotely the most popular option with the character's readers. Canceling popular television shows and running comic book unpopularly too long? Does DC pay any attention to its fan base?
Last week's poll question: What is your preferred length for a single comic book story? (38 votes)
Speaking of fan favorites, you probably know that you can rate each issue of Booster's 470 and counting comic book appearances here at Boosterrific.com. (If you haven't done so, I highly encourage you to rate your feelings about Booster's appearances. I assure you that people are interested in your opinion.) According to the fan ratings already in the Boosterrific.com database, only 15 issues have earned perfect 5-star ratings from multiple reviewers. Narrowing those down to 5 samples from distinctly different series, I think it's about time we started figuring out which of these is the best.
[If you need your memory jogged, here are the links to the issues in question: Booster Gold, v1, #1; JLA Classified #5; Countdown to Infinite Crisis #1, Booster Gold, v2, #30; Justice League: Generation Lost #8.]

Booster Gold #1:<br />His first issue is of course a classic and fine introduction..but it is not his finest hour. That is the good thing about Booster, he gets better and more interesting over the years instead starting on a high level only to start dropping.<br />JLA Classified #5:<br />The Supperbuddies stories were entertaining..but a bit too much on the BWA-HA-HA side<br />Booster Gold, v2, #30:<br />A very fine Comic that shows perfectly how Booster has grown and changed. A hallmark for his character, but not my favourite story<br />Justice League: Generation Lost #8 <br />The series had it's flaws, but in the end it was still awesome and in eyes one of the best Booster stories ever told, yet neither this issue nor the whole story takes the top spot for me<br />Countdown to Infinite Crisis #1<br />THIS was the first Comic I ever read and made stick around for more. I got my first taste of the Blue & Gold and wanted more. While the story focused on Ted it was just amazing to see Booster through his eyes. For me this is not just the great beginning of Boosters "second coming" but also my personal entry into the world of comics.

I like COUNTDOWN very much. It is a good story, but I still find the fate of Blue Beetle to be a bit of an artificial cheat just for shock value (a Geoff Johns trademark!). Blue Beetle had escaped from tougher situations dozens of times for this to be his last stand. For that reason, I cannot consider it a great book. (Though I have to say, if it was your first book or you were unaware of the Blue Beetle's history, that bit may not bother you at all.)
My dirty little secret here is that my personal favorite isn't among the options listed. (I voted "other" in my own poll.) I plan to run my favorite against the leading vote winner later. If anyone else has any suggestions that aren't on this list, I invite them to post in the comments.

My personal favorite will always be Booster Gold #1, the original!<br /><br />Such a unique take on a superhero, an on-going mystery launched and just a fun book overall!

I know that countdown had flaws, not just Ted's fate, but also the unexplained turn to evil by Max. But like you said, when one is not familiar with any of their history and characters(and my knowledge about the DCU was even smaller than that of the normal not comic reader, as I had not even watched any of the cartoons as a kid), you just can't notice and judge these flaws. If I had read JLI % co before, I would have been mad as well.

They say that you can have too much of a good thing, so it's good to know that most of our voters exercise some restraint with their collecting. Hopefully you are saving your money for the big-ticket Booster Gold collectibles, such as a life-sized Skeets replica -- should they ever come out.
Last week's poll question: How many Booster Gold figures do you own? (43 votes)
Speaking of too much of a good thing, once upon a time comic book stories were told succinctly in a issue or less. Now stories typically plod slowly over a half dozen issues so that they can be collected into trades. How do you feel about this storytelling decompression?

Jim Lee will find no love here at Boosterrific.com. Pay attention, Jim: you can never go wrong with the classics.
Last week's poll question: Which version of Booster Gold's power suit makes the best Halloween costume? (43 votes)
When I recently acquired the Eaglemoss Booster Gold statuette it made me realize that I now have quite a collection of 3D Booster Gold figures on my bookshelf. It wasn't all that long ago that if you wanted a Booster Gold figure, you needed to be pretty skilled with clay. What a difference a half-decade makes! Now you can have the Eaglemoss statue, several Heroclix mini-figures, DC Minimates, and more than a half-dozen traditional action figures of several different scales. Wow! Other than me, who's buying all these things?

I..uh feel kind of ashamed to admit that I don't own a single one. These kind of things are usually not even sold here (except maybe Batman & co in toy stores).
Jobu posted on Nov. 4, 2011 at 12:28 PM
I love those eaglemoss poison statues. I have at least 30 of them with Blue and Gold front and center. Though dealing with the company was a nightmare I don't recommend. My other Booster related figure is from the Justice League International line.<br /><br />I'm just really hoping DC eventually releases some kind of statue/bust/maquette of Booster. It's long overdue.

So, you finally got yourself a copy of the Eaglemoss statuette, heh? Good for ya!^^

I lucked out and found one at my local grocery store in the discount toy section earlier this year. For some reason they were stocked up on DCU action figures. Got the 6-pack with booster, maxwell lord, superman, wonder woman, and 2 omacs (why no blue beetle?) for under $5 bucks. Last I checked on amazon it was selling for like $20. In hindsight I wish I would have grabbed more figures since they were so cheap but most of them were justice league unlimited. I do wish I grabbed the Doomsday one with most of the JLI.

I'm bad. I have every Booster gold and blue beetle action figure released thus far. As well as variants and of course super nova. Go team blue and gold

Doh! I accidently hit the vote button without actually placing a vote this morning when I called up the site. If you see a "blank" vote, it is likely mine. Sorry to mess up the poll results. :(
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on Nov. 7, 2011 at 1:50 PM
Maximillion, I thought I had built the script to ignore blank votes. Did it lock you out from voting again? I'll double check to make sure that this sort of thing won't be a problem for you (or anyone else) again.
Maximillion posted on Nov. 7, 2011 at 5:02 PM
Boosterrific, no actually now that I've visited the page later on, I can still vote. I was locked out earlier, but I didn't think to re-load the page. Thanks!
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on Nov. 7, 2011 at 6:02 PM
Still lazy coding on my part. I've adjusted the script. Now if you submit without voting, it won't lock you out until page refresh. Sorry for that inconvenience.
Maximillion posted on Nov. 8, 2011 at 7:15 AM
Hey, it's no problem. I was just worried that I somehow managed to botch this week's poll results. I'm relieved that I didn't!
Maximillion posted on Nov. 9, 2011 at 8:06 AM
Boosterrific, I just noticed that I am able to send another vote, despite the fact that I already voted (though I didn't do it!). Just letting you know in case it's something you want to correct.
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on Nov. 9, 2011 at 5:06 PM
Don't tell anyone, Max, but the poll memory is cookie based. Therefore, if you wanted to vote multiple times, you could by clearing your browser cookie cache or simply denying cookies in your browser. The site isn't capturing any data about you other than your vote. If I really wanted the system to lock you out, I'd have to start tracking all voters multiple ways in the database, and nobody wants that. (Besides the fact that it is invasive and resource intensive, determined voters could still get around it.) So re-voting is really on the honor system. I figure that no one out there would want to stuff the ballot box on a poll about Booster Gold, right?

There's no surprise that DC Universe Online wins this week's poll in a landslide. It's really the only game in which players can interact with DC's official Booster Gold in all his salesman glory. However, every game has its fans except for one: has nobody played the new DC Adventures RPG yet, or is it really just not that good in comparison to these other fine games?
Last week's poll question: What is the best game that includes Booster Gold? (32 votes)
Halloween is upon us, and since the holiday falls on a Monday this year, festivities will run throughout the weekend. Most of the fun of the Halloween holiday is choosing a costume. Do you live a power fantasy as dressing like one of your heroes? Or do you take the opportunity to prove your geekiness by dressing like your favorite niche character? Let's find out.

The DC Adventures game is actually alot of fun, but the highly involving character creation may turn away some more discerning RPG fans. Currently it is the RP of choice among my group in the superhero category. And the fact that the Heroes and Villains Volume I book came out (including Booster, Skeets, Rip Hunter, and all 3 Blue Beetles!!) can only help it from here on. I wish I would've voted for it above VS but I had just gotten the second book after the poll.
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on Oct. 30, 2011 at 4:29 PM
If you changed your vote, Curt, then the Vs System would have received no votes at all! (Honestly, that was the one I expected to receive no votes anyway.) I haven't played the new RPG yet, but I look forward to it now that Booster has been included.
