While Booster Gold's victory over Maxwell Lord may have been short lived, it certainly seems to have struck a chord with our voters. Let's hope that Booster will get to have a showdown with his old frenemy one day in the DCnU.

Wow. It's a Christmas Miracle: this poll had 4 times as many votes as any other poll has ever received. (That's a response too good to be true. It looks like I'll be spending Christmas weekend working on better poll scripts!) Given the apparent demand, maybe original Dan Jurgens artwork needs to be sold by the panel.

Coming to the end of the calendar means that it's time to look back at the year that was. For Booster Gold, 2011 was a pretty eventful year. Booster was prominently featured as a major character in 4 different titles, participated in a unique tie-in to the crossover event of the year, and survived the reboot to lead the reimagined Justice League International. He even appeared in both animated and live action television shows. Quite an impressive list for a character still widely considered a b-list hero. Here's hoping Booster doesn't rest on his laurels in 2012.

The winner of last week's poll, 52 Week 15, trounced the competition by a wide margin. I'm sure no one voted for that issue because we saw Booster Gold's corpse, right?

Probably no surprise following his golden performance in Smallville, but Eric Martsolf garnered the best response in last week's poll. Even if he doesn't land the role (and I can't really imagine that he'd want to leave Days of Our Lives for a shot at a series on ScyFy), he'll always be television's first live-action Booster Gold and have a place in our hearts.
