No New Release: Batman Urban Legends 22
It doesn't look like Booster Gold appears in any new books this week, but if you decide to visit your Local Comic Shop anyway, you might want to check the recent issues rack for Batman: Urban Legends #22.
It came out last month, and Logan Peterson only recently informed me that he found Booster Gold making this two-panel cameo within:
Ok, so that's not Booster Gold himself but a statue of Booster Gold promoting slot machines in Bludhaven's Lunar Crown Casino — which is a really good thing for Booster given that Nightwing breaks its leg!.
It's not clear whether Booster has licensed his likeness to the casino or the slot machines themselves. In either case, I sure hope they have superhero insurance.
Thanks for the spot, Logan. I've got another, much older Booster appearance by Brandon to spotlight soon. In the meanwhile, keep your eyes peeled for more Booster Gold in 2023, everybody!

Old Release: Wildstorm 30th Anniversary Special
I figured if we were going to see Booster Gold anywhere this week, it would be in Dark Crisis: Big Bang. After all, the whole issue is a trip through the new DC Multiverse drawn by Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund.
But no. No Booster anywhere.
To be fair, that makes sense. The issue revisits the concepts of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Booster Gold wasn't in the DC Universe then. (Flash Fact: Booster Gold was the first new character to appear on the sole Earth to survive into the post-Crisis on Infinite Earths DC Universe!)
However, just when I was prepared to write about something else today, Booster booster Logan writes in to tell me that about a Booster Gold appearance I missed last week!
Set your eyes on this panel from Wildstorm 30th Anniversary Special #1:
art by Will Conrad and Romulo Fajardo Jr.
You might be surprised to learn that this is the first time Booster Gold has appeared on panel with Apollo and Midnighter in mainstream continuity. Granted, Apollo and Midnighter didn't leave the Wildstorm Universe and join the mainstream DCU until the New 52, but that's still been over a decade. About time, guys!
So if you do go to your Local Comic Shop this week, be sure to check the shelves for last week's comics. Thanks, Logan!

DC Greatest Events
Booster booster Logan Peterson works in a bookstore and writes in to tell us that he has spotted our hero in the new book DC Greatest Events coming soon from Stephen Wiacek and DK.
I meandered my way through and can report that Booster makes several visual appearances--mostly in group shots from events like Zero Hour and Heroes in Crisis. He is listed in the index, though, which directs one to this particular page in the Flashpoint entry:
Golly. At the time, I believed Flashpoint was nothing more than a naked cash grab before the "New 52" launch. Reading that recap description of the "16 interlinked but self-contained three-issue limited series" makes me think my original opinion was too generous.
Thanks for the heads-up, Logan. Now everybody knows what to ask for from Santa this Christmas!

New Release: DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War 2
When I started this website to track all adventures of the superhero Booster Gold, I didn't think I was going to have to spend so much time typing about vampires. I mean, I thought Blue and Gold had defeated the DCU's last vampire in 1989 (in the "immortal" Justice League International #25).
But who can predict the future? (Especially in the DCU. Its reboots have reboots.)
Anyway, DC Vs. Vampires: All-Out War #2 is at your Local Comic Shop now. Booster Gold is definitely in it, as you can see in the preview at AIPT.com.
Booster's also on the cover. One of them, anyway. As noted back in May, Booster is prominently featured on the 1:25 James Stokoe retailer incentive variant cover. You might have to find that one on eBay.
But wait! There's more!
Booster booster Logan Peterson dropped me a line to say, "it looks like Booster appears in this week's Aquaman and the Flash: Voidsong #3." On page 30, to be specific.
That is not an appearance I would have spotted without assistance, Logan. Thank you!
Buy a Booster Gold comic and make Skeets happy.

Calling All Librarians
OG Booster booster Shawn Baston recently notified me that he had spotted Booster Gold someplace I'd never thought to look: in the pages of DC Super-Pets Character Encyclopedia (Picture Window Books, 2013)!
written by Steve Korte, illustrated by Art Baltazar
Skeets... classified as a pet? I don't think he'd like that.
I've updated the Other Media > Books section of the site with this and a few other books that Shawn was able to confirm, but he suggested still others that *might* have Booster Gold (or Skeets!) appearances that we have not been able to confirm. I thought I'd put the word out to see if any of Booster's other loyal fans could provide any additional insights.
All of the following were published by DK. Links are to the titles on Amazon.com for reference.
LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Character Encyclopedia: New Exclusive Pirate Batman Minifigure (2016)
LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Visual Dictionary: With Exclusive Yellow Lantern Batman Minifigure (2018)
DC Comics Year By Year, New Edition: A Visual Chronicle (2019)
DC Comics Cover Art (2020)
The DC Book: A Vast and Vibrant Multiverse Simply Explained (2021)
If anyone can confirm or definitively rule out a Booster Gold (or Skeets!) appearance in any of those — or any other books that may not be listed on Boosterrific.com, please drop a note in the comments below.
Thanks, Shawn!
UPDATE: Logan Peterson has confirmed Booster's inclusion in DC Comics Cover Art, The DC Book, and DC Comics Year By Year. Thanks, Logan!
UPDATE February 20: J adds that Booster Gold is name-dropped in the Kingdom Come novelization that I didn't have in the books section, so I've added that, too. Thanks, J!
