The fate of Skeets is rumored to be revealed in the issue. I guess we'll find out how Skeets feels when we get our hands on it tomorrow.

Kinda, actually, can't wait for this...On a side note, about the Canadian-scene in DC that this site was on a kick about a bit ago....As a Canadian (hence the CDN name), I have always wondered about Canadian heroes, and I remember reading awhile back that Cyborg was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and raised there for a bit. Maybe this will give Michael and 'Borg a bit of a better relation in DCnU than it was earlier?

One scenario that I think is somewhat likely would be that since it is to expected that the JLI will be active around the world, that whatever country they are currently in send an "advisior/liason" to work with the team (unless the country is already represented of course)

It also looks like they filled in the forehead blue, when it originally was revealing Booster's bare skin. Coloring mistake? Or is it a late correction to the costume?

probably a late correction. They rushed all this retcon/relaunch too much, they've been correcting details along the way since then.<br />See "Wonder Woman's pants" last minute fix!

Booster is about as Canadian as Rock n' Roll or a Budweiser from 1955. The only way Michael Jon Carter is Canadian is if Canada invaded the U.S. sometime before the 25th century and nothing I've seen has ever shown that even in the 30th century.

I must say I'm conflicted. At first I was thrilled because I've been waiting a long time for DC to FINALLY give Canada a hero and then BAM, my favourite of all time is chosen.<br /><br />But then the more I think about it, the more I realize it doesn't really make sense for his character. Maybe the new DC is just skipping over Booster's self-promotion phase and starting him as a post-52 selfless hero; and perhaps the reason he never gets taken seriously is because he's Canadian rather then a former glory hog?<br /><br />Too bad Ted Kord looks like he's get the vanishing treatment, I feel like he would have made a good token canuck.

For some reason I vaguely remember that Metropolis/New Gotham become such huge megacities in the future that they incorporate Parts of Toronto and Montreal. Maybe I'm just remembering something wrong from Boosters original series or somewhere. <br /><br />But it could be something as simple as Booster having dual citizenship. It's not that uncommon.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I'm kind of tired of these "groups not getting along" storylines. And I doubt it's going to be done with a largely humorous overtone. <br /><br />While I understand it's reasoning for being in this book, a book about people from different parts of the world with different ideologies, it doesn't change my opinion on it.
