I'm sad. A: it will never happen, B: it would be a 2 hour long gay joke, and C: DC has yet to get anything right cinematically since Batman Begins.

The last good DC movie was Michael Keaton's BATMAN in '89. (I hate Nolan's interpretation of Batman.) For my money, that BATMAN might be the only good DC movie. I'm not a huge fan of Superman spinning the world backwards to save his girlfriend.

I'm in favor of Booster in all media, but what's the point of mix n' match Blue and Gold? I can't imagine it will really make anyone happy.

The New52 has messed up a lot of characters. The Suicide Squad movie looks horrid.
I hope they get Booster right. WB/DC track record is really poor.

It has got to be Ted Kord for Blue Beetle or it will confirm the worst.

Boosterrific, you're my kind of guy. I can't stand the Nolan Batman movies. Burton's 1989 Batman was great. It had the feel of a comic book come to life.

As for a Booster Gold movie, I'll believe it opening night. Also, I'm not a fan of Jaime - it needs to be Ted Kord.

I don't like anything Nolan did after Begins, but that movie nails the character. Burton had Batman killing people with guns and bombs, big nono.

I don't remember BEGINS beyond knowing I hated it, so I'm willing to concede that maybe he murders no one in that movie. However I distinctly recall that Nolan certainly had no problem having Batman kill policemen with rockets. Maybe that was the sequel.

First,Dark Knight was a great film. Any other dc movie was just whack I agree W.B track record isn't putting in work in their films. I agree it has to be Ted over Jaime. Let it just be a Booster Gold film even better. I feel like its easier to write a film with Jaime then it is about Ted how about someone throws an idea of what a film should consist of if it had Ted.

I think this would honestly be rather successful if it's handled in a way appropriate to the characters.

Even if it's Jaime rather than Ted, set it after Teds death--give rich history to two characters who will otherwise be seen in a comedy. I think it should essentially be (with either beetle) a time traveling buddy cop movie. (My personal picks for Booster and Beetle being Joel McHale as Booster Gold and Charlie Day as the Ted Kord Blue Beetle)

With the success of a high concept film like 'Guardians of the Galaxy' if done well, even with a low budget, I could see this as a breakout hit.

It is difficult for me because I kind of think Booster's arc in 52 as part of volume 2. :P But I think volume 2 shows the best Booster ever.

I may be biased because it was my first real introduction to the character (i started around no. 34) but Volume 2 for me.
It has the most range of Boosters character imo and i enjoy the variety of the plots and references to previous comics.

Also I just really love time travel (and rani. i love her so much)

My dad introduced me to the character after he randomly picked up an issue or two from Vol. 2. He said the character was sympathetic, the stories were entertaining, and I have to agree with both. Hence, Booster became my favorite male superhero. I'm biased I suppose because I started with Vol. 2, but I have read (and collected prior) all his JLI stuff, and I have all of Vol. 1.

Anything after Vol. 2 has just been a complete disappointment.

Sadly I've dropped off the face of the comic book world after DC effectively ruined the characters I like. I still go to this page because - well, obviously it's a page dedicated to all things Booster - but it pains me to read updates like this: it just continues to show me the company is remaining derailed. That and they are still focused on Batcrap. I checked October's lineup today randomly (after discovering that there is a mini-series of Power Girl and Harley Quinn on Amazon). 37% of DC's comic lineup is Bat-centric or Bat-themed. Ridiculous.

I recently counted Bat books for December, and that percentage climbs to 53%. Variety is not a priority for DC heading into 2016.

Marvel is destroying IT'S past to match what makes money. DC is already doing the same (again) before making a dime. Time for an old guy to say WTF. The guy who made WWtW (which I love, but nobody else does) is now steering the ship.If they want to make money just show us film footage of the board meetings. I expect that would be more entertaining
