Panel Discussions Podcast with Dan Jurgens

Late yesterday afternoon Russel Burlingame's third Panel Discussions podcast was posted on ComicRelated.com. Burlingame and Dan Jurgens had so much to talk about, some of their conversation was left on the cutting room floor, including such questions and answers as:

Panel Discussions: Will we ever see the Black Beetle arc finished? Will we learn the identity of Rip's mom? Will you keep Rani?

Dan Jurgens: Yes to the first and third questions, while the second is more likely to stay a mystery!

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. In the podcast, Dan Jurgens discusses his plans for Booster Gold in coming months, as well as his plans for Black Beetle, Magog and his suggestions of how Booster Gold should have been handled in Justice League: Generation Lost. So follow the link above and get an earful of Dan Jurgens courtesy of Russ Burlingame.

Skeets Gets a Piece of the Action

Introducing the latest advancement in vending machine innovation: Skeets Repairs, "the Future of Convenience" â„¢!

Skeets Repairs

Players at the highest levels of DC Universe Online spend a lot of time in playrooms (more commonly known as dungeons or instances), where they will take a beating from some of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. When a player needs a quick pick-me-up, rather than leave the playroom, he can just pop over to the conveniently located Skeets Repairs machine and spend some well earned coin on repairs.

These vending machines may be in some questionable locations (is a warehouse full of Joker robots really the ideal place to sell some soda, Booster?), but their selection is top-notch. Skeets Repairs machines clearly dispense 4 flavors of Soder-Cola and 3 flavors of Gingold soda. Yummy!

Booster Gold Versus T.O. Morrow

I know that I may have seemed especially negative as of late (sorry, it's been a bad few weeks personally), but don't blame the messenger for what I am about to show you, blame the math. At this rate, Booster Gold Volume 2, #50 is looking like a double-sized final issue.

Booster Gold projected sales through September 2011

Disclaimer: I'm not T.O. Morrow. I can't say that I looked into the future and saw the actual sales figures for issues 42-47. (Sales data for issue 42 won't be available until next month, and of course there's no telling what can happen during Flashpoint.) I can only say that the slope of that white projected sales line is pretty well defined by recent sales trends.

It might be time to start buying two copies of each issue if you want to keep Booster Gold alive.

New Release: DC Universe Legacies #10

I can't promise it, but I strongly suspect that we will see Booster Gold in this week's DC Universe: Legacies #10. That's an educated guess based on the fact that Booster has made an appearance in the last four issues. Buy it and make Skeets happy.
