Nothing's Ever Going to Keep Him Down
Perhaps I've been too maudlin these past few days, complaining about no Booster Gold in our lives. That stops here! Enjoy the video and your weekend, Booster Boosters!
(The song is "You're The Best" by Joe Esposito, better known as "That Song From The Karate Kid." The video edit is by TheDCVerse. The combination is pure gold.)

O Booster, Where Art Thou?
A plurality of us voters are comic book traditionalists, obviously. However, I think it's worth noting that if I had combined television and movies into one category, it would have made up over 50% of the vote. A majority of voters really want to see Booster Gold come alive off the page again. I can get behind that, especially if it gives us the best odds of seeing Booster Gold again.
Last week's poll question: In what medium would you most prefer to receive future Booster Gold adventures? (49 votes)
As mentioned yesterday, there's no hint yet from DC when Booster Gold will be returning to action. It's natural that human beings in an information vacuum will assume the worst, so how are we Booster Gold fans holding up?

No News is Bad News
DC released solicitations for the month of December earlier this week, and there was still no sign of Booster Gold. It looks like it's time to dig in for the long haul: it may be a quarter of a year or more before we see Booster Gold in a new DC comic again.
Before we abandon all hope, let me remind you that Jason Tabyrs of Comic Book Resources reported that a DC panel told the crowd at the Baltimore Comic-Con earlier this month that Booster Gold would be seen again in Justice League of America sometime in 2013. The panelists included Dan DiDio, who is both in a position to know and has a history of lying to us. So take that news as you will.

This Day In History: Drive a Boostermobile!
No would-be hero can consider himself a success without a signature vehicle. Batman has his Batmobile; Spider-Man, his Spider-Mobile; and even Superman, the Supermobile. Naturally, Booster Gold would want to have to have his eponymous means of transportation. Too bad this will turn out to be just another lesson for Booster Gold in being careful in what he wishes for.
When Booster Gold discovered that Jeremy Brylser was marketing civilian models of his unique Boostermobile to the general public, Booster balked. Ostensibly, Booster claimed to be concerned about the liability issues, though we have since learned that shouldn't have been an issue. So what really kept Booster from allowing the common man the opportunity to own their own Brysler-Booster Mark IV vehicle? Pride? Guilt? Greed?
Find the whole story in Booster Gold, Volume 1, #11, released 26 years ago today.
