New Release: DC's Spring Breakout!
Booster Gold does not appear in this week's DC's Spring Breakout! one-shot, but that's apparently only because he was too anxious to hit the waves.
This is the first panel of the fourth page in the anthology's fourth story, "The Day the Robot Danced":
words by James Reid, letters by Josh Reed
Hmm. A signed surfboard would be hard to frame and hang on the wall in my office, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to try.

They Were Serious about the "Infinite" Part
Rob Snow alerts me that Warner Bros has released a trailer for Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths – Part Three that contains images of Booster Gold.
So I went looking, and sure enough, at about 12 seconds in, there's our boy:
Booster Gold, Red Star, Star Sapphire, Starfire, Starman: what is this, Earth-Shooting Stars?
So whenever that movie comes out (the trailer just says "coming soon"), know that it'll have at least a second or two of Booster Gold in it. At least until the Anti-Monitor kills him.
If you want to see the rest of the trailer, you can find it on YouTube.com.
Thanks, Rob.

Look! A Silver Green Lantern Ooshie
In 2018, the Blot introduced us to the Booster Gold Ooshie.
Now Blot is back with more "Booshie" news!
So a few years ago I wrote in to tell you about the Booster Gold Ooshies figure, which was included in the DC Comics Ooshies line of collectible pencil / pen toppers. What I didn't know until recently is they also released two exclusive variants. So technically there are some new production Booster Gold figures in the world!
The Gold Booster was exclusive to the 2022 DC Oooshies Advent Calendar, which as best as I can tell was sold exclusively at Big Lots. While I was trying to find that figure on eBay I also stumbled upon the Silver Booster, but can’t find any information about it. This one was misnamed by a seller in China, possibly coming off the factory floor as a sample. Can't find any series or sets that included a silver Booster Gold. Happy hunting to all the Booster Gold collectors out there wanting to add these to their collections!
Looking back at other Ooshie offerings, it seems they offered rare "titanium" chase variants of some figures, so maybe that explains the silver treatment?
Whatever the case, I'm not particularly surprised that a Chinese eBay seller didn't recognize The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of. Good find, Blot!

My Favorite Pages: JLI Annual 3
Booster Gold spends most of his time in the background of Justice League International Annual #3 as one of many team members taking a world tour of JLI embassies. There's just not a lot of opportunity for him to open his mouth.
But he does get plenty of opportunity to play straight man to his comic foil, Blue Beetle.
As you can see, there's a running gag in this story about Booster making up a fake "Aunt Millie" just to tease Blue Beetle. Is there nothing these two knuckleheads won't do for a laugh? (That's why we love them!)

New Release: Booster Gold the Complete 2007 Series
Believe it or not, the first issue of Booster Gold Volume 2 was published over 16 years ago. Sixteen! If it was a person, it could legally drive a car by now.
(Wait a second. Boosterrific.com was around then. We used to discuss new issues in the no-defunct Boosterrific Forum. Have I really been doing this that long? Golly, how does Booster keep looking so young? I'm aging like a month-old banana!)
Anyway. Booster is long overdue for a new reprint collection, and DC has answered the call. Today, at your Local Comic Shop, you can find this:
If you were buying Booster Gold comics in 2007, you probably already have everything in Booster Gold The Complete 2007 Series Book One, which collects issues #0 through #14 and #1,000,000 (in order of publication). But have you re-read those books lately? Wouldn't it be nice to have them all in one convenient package? (At $29.99, it's much cheaper than the cost of all 16 issues as floppies.)
And if you haven't read Booster Gold Volume 2, what are you doing reading Boosterrific.com? Go! Read!
Buy this trade paperback and make Skeets happy.
