Stop Toying with Our Emotions!
Some of you might have seen this over the weekend at Examiner.com:
According to a Twitter post made by Latino-Review's Umberto Gonzalez on Saturday, he got some news from the the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" set that Booster Gold and Blue Beetle was spotted on location. The Grip Department confirms this and Craft Services made the report.
Blue and Gold in Batman v. Superman? That sounds great, right? Don't get too excited; the source reported for the article later claimed he was only joking. Think of it as an April Fools' Day prank in mid-October.
Bros, the BLUE BEETLE & BOOSTER GOLD tweet was a joke! Sarcasm yo! lol
— Umberto Gonzalez (@elmayimbe) October 18, 2014
(Russ Burlingame expands on how tweeting a false "breaking" news story can be considered a "joke" at ComicBook.com. Burlingame would never do such a thing, would you, Russ?)
Of course, that doesn't mean that Blue and Gold won't be in BvS:DoJ. It just means that we don't have any proof yet. We'll find out for sure when the movie hits theaters in 2016.

The Blot's Booster Gold Sketchbook Reborn
Earlier in the week, I showed you The Blot Says' "lost" Booster Gold commission from earlier this year. That was not, however, his latest. That would be this, posted to Twitter.com:
A rare Booster Gold sketch by living legend Rob Liefeld! Liefeld has never drawn Booster Gold in any comic book, and I've never seen a Liefeld-drawn Booster Gold before (despite what you might see on the Internet).
I'll just leave this here where you can stare at it all weekend. Enjoy.

Time-Traveling Tyrannosaur
The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois prides itself on owning "largest, best-preserved, and most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex ever found." That dinosaur, nicknamed "Sue," was found 24 years ago today.
Sue is special not only because of her bones. She also has a a unique modern history that includes Native Americans, land fraud, and FBI raids. It sure sounds like they could have used a super hero at that dig!
Some say dinosaurs died off because they couldn't adapt fast enough to changing climate conditions, but not Sue! She's adapting to the digital age just fine. Sue's featured in a documentary about her modern trials, Dinosaur 13 (which is due for release later this week), and like all reality stars, she has a big presence on social media. You can find her on Twitter as @SUEtheTrex.
That's not too bad for someone who's been dead for 67 million years. Someone get this dino an agent!

What We Learned from Comic-Con 2014
On Friday, I mentioned that we'd discuss the Lego news from Comic-Con today. Even if you're already heard the big reveal, it bears repeating: Lego Skeets.
That's right, Booster Gold and Skeets will be among the 150 DC characters in this fall's LEGO Batman 3 video game from Traveler's Tales! The news was "leaked" on Twitter by @LEGOBatmanGame and reconfirmed during the "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" panel on Sunday (as reported by dcinfinite.com). LEGO Booster's biography has already been uploaded to Brickipedia!
The game is due this fall on every major gaming platform. You can find more details at Lego.com.

The Blot's Booster Gold Sketchbook Returns
Thrice before we've seen The Blot's Booster Gold sketchbook commissions. (Here, here, and here.) Now that convention season has returned, so has The Blot!
From left to right, those sketches are by Aaron Lopresti and Neal Adams (!) commissioned at Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas, his past weekend. Click on the images to see The Blot's larger pics, or visit the whole sketchbook in much larger detail at The Blot Says' Flickr page. While you're out and about, also consider dropping by The Blot's blog, TheBlotSays.com.
Footnote: via Twitter, The Blot paraphrased Neal Adams as saying it was only the third time he'd drawn Booster Gold. Adams hasn't ever drawn Booster in a DC comic so far as I am aware, so where are those other Neal Adams Booster Gold sketches, hmm?
