Complete 2007 Series Book Two Coming in April
DC released their February 2025 solicitations late last week, and while there's still no sign of Booster Gold returning to the DCU, I'm not mad. DC is kindly allowing me to save up my money to buy this:

BOOSTER GOLD: THE COMPLETE 2007 SERIES BOOK TWO
Written by DAN JURGENS and KEITH GIFFEN
Art by DAN JURGENS, MIKE NORTON, and more
Cover by DAN JURGENS and NORM RAPMUND
$29.99, 440 Pages, Softcover, ISBN: 978-1-79950-103-9, On Sale April 8
Though Booster yearns for the simple life, destiny has thrust the responsibility of time itself in his hands. As the time stream goes awry and the past unravels, he must put history back in its place before existence vanishes entirely! Collects Booster Gold #15-31 and The Brave and the Bold #23.
Perhaps not so coincidentally, Volume One was released in April 2024. I wonder if that means we should expect the third (and likely final) volume in April 2026?
You can find this and the rest of DC's solicitations at AIPTComics.com.

Playing Around with Action Comics 1076
The Blot got in touch this weekend to say, well, this:
Hey! Check out this McFarlane Toys Super Powers variant cover to Action Comics #1076 featuring the latest Booster Gold action figure. Kinda crazy. Just learned about it.

Good find, Blot!
According to the original DC Comics November 2024 solicitation, Action Comics #1076 will have six different covers: Cover A, two artist variants, a Creature Commandos variant, a McFarlane Toys variant, and a 1:25 retailer incentive variant. As we now know, this is the McFarlane Toys one of those.
DC's distributor, Lunar Distribution, has this listed as a "ACTION COMICS #1076 CVR E MCFARLANE TOYS CARD STOCK VAR" with cover price of $5.99. The book will be released on November 20, but If you want it, be sure to tell your Local Comic Shop today, as today is the Final Order Cut-off deadline for orders.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Blot.

Batten Down the Hatches
DC released their January 2022 solicitations late last week (you can read them at AIPTComics.com), and I don't want to alarm anyone, but for the third consecutive month, Booster Gold was nowhere to be seen.
It's already been 20 days since we last saw Booster in a comic book, and if solicitations are any guide (and they usually are), we won't be seeing new adventures of our hero until at least February 1, another 101 days yet. That's a long time.
Why is it that just when DC launches the "all in" Justice League Unlimited era, they take Booster Gold off the table?

No New Releases, December 2024 Edition
I'm not expecting to find Booster Gold in any new releases today. And now seems as good a time as any to mention that I'm not expecting to find Booster Gold in any new releases during the entire month of December, either.
AIPTComics.com has the "Full December 2024 DC Comics solicitations," and as you can see, there's not a hint of Booster Gold anywhere. Sure, he *could* be in Justice League Unlimited #2. Or maybe Challengers of the Unknown or The Question: All Along the Watchtower, which are also JL Unlimited-adjacent. Or maybe somewhere else. I don't know.
Anyway, let's look on the bright side: with no Booster Gold comics to buy, we'll have more money to spend on Christmas presents. (Or, if you're not a Christmas person, on coffee. Everyone loves coffee.) Thanks, DC!

Let's Play a Guessing Game
I was reading the DC Comics solicitations for November 2024 on AIPTComics.com with an eye out for Booster Gold, and the only publications that will definitely include our hero are Blue Beetle Volume 2, reprinting the second half of the just-canceled Blue Beetle series, and 52 Volume Two (2024 Edition), which is yet another reprint of the back half of the (very excellent) 2006 series. And neither of those books is actually being released in November.
So the question becomes "Will we see Booster Gold in any DC Comics in November?"
I think the likeliest place to find our hero might be Justice League Unlimited #1 coming from Mark Waid and Dan Mora on November 27, especially given that it's promoted as a new League comprised of "every hero championing the forces of good." Booster Gold certainly qualifies for that. (And I hope that promise means we'll be seeing more of the many, many other heroes so often squeezed off comic book racks to make room for more Batman titles.)
If not there, I can't begin to guess where else. Absent from the DCU since 2022's Dark Crisis, the Justice League is mentioned seemingly everywhere in November, playing some role in Action Comics #1077 (written by Mark Waid), Batman/Superman: World's Finest #33 (written by Mark Waid), and also in books not written by Mark Waid, including Black Lightning #1, The Question: All Along the Watchtower #1, Batman/Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns #1, and Jenny Sparks #4.
Will any of those League appearances include a little Gold? I guess we'll find out in November.
