We've All Gotta Go Sometime
My high school reunion is tomorrow. I'm not going, and it's all Booster Gold's fault.

That's Booster Gold at Ted Kord's 15th high school reunion, as detailed in Justice League Quarterly #7. Unlike Booster Gold, I don't know any foreign supermodel/superheroes who would go as my dates. I also doubt that my reunion would be crashed by alien warlords. The only aspect that my reunion would share with this one is that there will definitely be dentists, car salesmen, and drunks in attendance.
Therefore, I'm going to stay at home and read comic books, just as I did on weekends in high school. That's gotten me where I am today, and I'm not complaining.

It's Always in the Last Place You Look
Fifty-two titles to chose from, and one stands out significantly above the rest as our expected source for Booster Gold's return. Is it any surprise it's the title written by Geoff Johns? (For the record, 37 books received one or fewer votes. Only the top ten are shown in the graph below.)
Last week's poll question: Which April DC title will see the return of Booster Gold? (Choose up to 3 titles.) (117 votes)
Remember R.B. Silva's Instagram.com sketch that has been widely interpreted as a sign of an upcoming Justice League International comic? Now that we know that Booster will be reappearing in April, has that changed your thinking about what Silva's sketches represent?

New Old Release: Superman The Man of Steel v7
Good news, Booster boosters! Booster Gold makes a cameo appearance in a new release today.
If you run out to your Local Comic Shop and pick up Superman: The Man of Steel Volume 7, you'll find our hero in some reprinted vintage action!
What, you didn't spot him? Here, let me help.

That's our Booster, hiding right there behind Firestorm and Jade. This panel originally appeared in Action Comics #596. How many of you bought that when it was on the newsstands in 1987?
Ok, so it's not much Booster, but you have to admit that DC did publish a book with Booster Gold in it today.

Where Is the Tiny Skeets?
If Booster Gold really wants to be more famous than Superman, he's going to have to improve his rogues gallery. How about a Booster Goldmite?
Artist Adam Hicks imagines that Blue Beetle and Booster Gold would have their hands full with their childish offspring. I wonder if Booster will have this problem with Rip Hunter one day.
You can find more of Hicks' work under the pseudonym Gigatoast at Deviant Art.

Time for a Healthy Breakfast
Those of you who attentively watched the DC Nation block on Cartoon Network this past weekend hopefully caught the Booster Gold reference in the Thunder and Lightning short. For those that blinked and missed it, here it is again:

Now we just need DC to get this into our grocery stores. Hopefully Sugar Bear won't find cause for litigation over the similarity with his longstanding Post Golden Crisps cereal.
