Hit the Target
I received an email from J.D. calling my attention to this 12-inch ruler at Target.com.
Says the website:
Prepare for epic fun with this exciting, new 12" figure that captures the unique look and sleek style of the Justice League Action team! Booster Gold features a bold, enhanced power suit, refreshed facial designs and iconic details. There is also added articulation at the knees for even more posing and battle action. The full collection includes Batman, Green Lantern, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. You can collect them all for the ultimate DC combat play. Each figure sold separately. For ages 3 and up.
Sadly, this figure doesn't seem to be for sale yet. Some Googling indicates that this product has been online amid Target.com's listings of Justice League Action figures since mid-January, but I've not seen any press releases or other notification. Perhaps it will be a Target Exclusive in a future wave of releases? (Right now, only Superman, Batman, Joker, and Flash figures seem to be available.)
Keep you eyes peeled (and your fingers crossed), Booster boosters! I'm sure we all want a foot of Gold in our lives.

Still Visiting the Old School
Thank you for your feedback. Now I know how to proportionally parse the data I'm getting from my content partners. You're the best, Booster boosters!
Last week's poll question: Where do you regularly get your Boosterrific.com content? (74 votes)
I had intended to use this information to plan how to develop future revisions to this site. For example, I have already closed the Boosterrific Forum due to its inactivity. Since there's just not anything for Booster Gold fans to talk about, there's no reason for me to keep updating it in the never-ending battle to keep the spam out. I thought I'd use the space for something else.
However, I'm put those redecorating plans on hold. The latest DC Universe reboot as seen in this week's Action Comics, coupled with the company's obvious indifference to selling me any Booster Gold comics, has me very down on DC Comics right now. I feel my time is better served developing video games and writing novels.
To be clear: Closing the Boosterrific Forum is the only change I'm making right now. Everything else will go on as normal — especially since we finally have a Booster Gold comic coming out next week! I'm just saying I've had about all the rebooting I can stand in my comics, so don't expect much change from my website.

The Blot's Sketchbook Adds Phil Hester
It's been a while since we last saw The Blot's sketchbook, but he's back to add this commission he got from Phil Hester at Bedrock City Comic Company in Houston, Texas last October.

I particularly love that Hester has drawn Booster's original hollow star logo!
You can see more commissions in The Blot Says' Booster Gold Sketchbook on Flickr.com. Thanks for sharing, Blot.

No Booster Gold Movie Until 2022?
Last week, Variety film reporter Justin Kroll tweeted that Warner Brothers is willing to be patient while developing scripts for DC movies.
Generally speaking, that's good news. Bad scripts make bad movies. However, if you read between the lines there, you might notice a particular DC property that is not being considered as a possibility for development in the near future.
Consider that
A.) Aquaman is the only DC property currently scheduled for filming,
B.) WB isn't releasing Aquaman until December 21, 2018 (at he earliest),
C.) based on past history, WB is unlikely to release more than 2 DC movies in a given year,
D.) WB has already prioritized the six properties most likely to follow.
We can draw this conclusion: the soonest we're likely to see a Booster Gold movie is 2022, and maybe not until much later. There's still talk of Cyborg, Shazam, Deadhsot, and Nightwing movies, not to mention a Justice League sequel. Are we eight years away from Booster Gold: The Movie?
In any event, later's better than never. At least by that time Booster's sure to have reappeared in the DCU again, right?

Where Are You Reading This?
Hey, you! If you aren't reading this on Boosterrific.com, please go there and tell me where you came from!
In an attempt to take Booster Gold to the masses, I push content to the Boosterrific.com, Facebook, and Twitter. Each of these content platforms provide user analytics data about how many people I'm reaching. Those numbers are all fine and good in helping me determine where my audience is, but the various metrics used by the platforms aren't exactly comparable. Therefore, today, I'm asking you for an old-fashioned head count. Thanks for your support.
