Time for a Healthy Breakfast
Those of you who attentively watched the DC Nation block on Cartoon Network this past weekend hopefully caught the Booster Gold reference in the Thunder and Lightning short. For those that blinked and missed it, here it is again:

Now we just need DC to get this into our grocery stores. Hopefully Sugar Bear won't find cause for litigation over the similarity with his longstanding Post Golden Crisps cereal.

What I'll Be Watching on TV This Weekend
This Sunday may see the biggest football game in America, but neither Baltimore Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco nor San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick has ever thrown a pass to save the universe....
...much less an entire multi-verse!
Since the Big Game isn't until Sunday, you might want to check out DC Nation on Cartoon Network tomorrow morning at 10AM EST to pass the time. There will be a new Thunder & Lightning short, "Under the Weather," that Comics Alliance tells us will include a Booster Gold product placement! (Thanks to Morgenstern for reminding those of us who like to sleep in on Saturdays to set our DVRs.)
Enjoy the game, everybody.

WTF, It's Booster Gold
Last week, there was some debate about whether the character teased in DC Comics Presents #19 was going to be Booster Gold. The case against it looked pretty clear, as the results of the poll suggest.
Last week's poll question: Will the time-displaced hero in DC PRESENTS #19 be Booster Gold? (43 votes)
But yesterday, Buzzfeed.com released a list of teases about DC's April solicitations. First and foremost was news about our hero.
- Booster Gold reappears while an entire team disappears
Whoo-hoo! Now we need to know where. Could we have been wrong about DC Comics Presents? Over at ComicBook.com, Russ Burlingame suggests Justice League Dark or Stormwatch. Months back, we were told that we'd see Booster in Justice League of America, although we could certainly see him first in Justice League. Is that Booster's force field on the cover of Vibe? Might the disappearing team referenced in the tease be Suicide Squad, who all look dead on their cover?
So many options! We need more clues! Where's Rip Hunter's chalkboard when you need it?
Where do you think we should start looking? How about I give you the option of voting for up to 3 titles that DC solicited for April, and we'll narrow down the search from those that get votes.

New Release: No, It's Not Booster Gold
If we want to see Booster Gold in comics again, it would be in our best interest to support the work of Booster's creator and biggest champion, the writer who has scripted more Booster Gold adventures than anyone else, Dan Jurgens. After all, who else can get away with answering Twitter calls for more Booster Gold with a "Bwah-ha-ha?"
DC may have taken Justice League International away from him, but Jurgens landed on his feet with The Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Man. Firestorm fans, like the Irredeemable Shag! over at FirestormFan.com, seem quite pleased that Jurgens has jettisoned much of the New 52 re-interpretation of the character to draw Firestorm closer to his pre-Flashpoint roots.
If you're a fan of Jurgens or Firestorm -- or if you just want to keep Jurgens employed until he can tell us who the Black Beetle is -- consider picking up The Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Man at your Local Comic Shop today.

Too Bad DCU Doesn't Have Legacy Heroes Anymore
No, I don't normally run Boostle posts, but this isn't a bromance, it's a fusion.
Artist Stark-liverbird at Deviant Art combined the costumes of Booster and Beetle (and Skeets and the Bug!) to create this "Booster Gold + Blue Beetle fusion." Could this be the Beetle Gold of Earth-2? Maybe I'm old-school, but I think those gold boy shorts are quintessentially super heroic.
