Holy. Crap.
It seriously appears that Booster Gold could possibly have his own television show! This news has spread like wildfire across the internet (and announcements about the show have filled up the Boosterrific inbox), indicating that there is some serious interest in the fan community about Booster going live action full time. Someone get Skeets an agent, quick!

My heart screams YES! but my gut remains skeptical. As a whole the SyFy channel is just terrible IMO. Which is a shame because when I was growing up the SciFi channel was great. If this show ever makes it to tv I hope they do it justice. I've never been a fan of the live action dc shows (smallville, lois & clark, birds of prey, the flash) so I'm hoping for the best here.

As am I. But the sheer fact that they are making it means that finally Booster is getting the real recognition he deserves! Or is he being made the centerpiece of a media nightmare? Let's hope its the first one.

Battlestar wasn't THAT long ago. Caprica was quality too, just didn't catch.
Give them good material and it'll stick.

Personally. I enjoyed watching No Ordinary Family and knowing that the same guy can be possibly working on Booster Gold series gives me hope for a good superhero show.
Aside from that,it's like a dream came true! :)

Calm down guys. Honestly, I wanna believe in a syfy Booster Gold show.
A Scifi superhero on a main network? I wouldn't have...but on Syfy? Seriously?
I do like Syfy current shows quite a lot, great directors and writers around that channel. (like Warehouse 13, Eureka, Haven, Alphas... so many well done shows, even on small budgets)
I have high hopes for this. The crew behind Warehouse 13, the ex producer of Fringe and Booster Gold on the current SyFy channel? It all sounds pretty promising.
At least we'll get a fun, exciting light hearted pilot if not a whole show.

Oh, I think Hollywood has conditioned us fans to expect a poor translation from comics to screen. And SyFy's track record isn't all hits: the company is far more concerned about bottom line accounting than producing good television, resulting in such dubious offerings as Shartopus and Mansquito. (I know that I am in the minority, but I HATED the new Battlestar.)
We fans have every right to be wary. Booster Gold: The Television Series would be a rare exception if he meets our high expectations. I'm excited and hopeful, but I think that a healthy dose of skepticism is probably warranted here.

While I would normally agree on both accounts, it still is Booster Gold we're talking about here. And one thing we all fans know is that you can't go wrong with Booster Gold.
I mean what could possibly go wrong? :)

While I'm thrilled a series is being discussed, I'm firmly in the skeptical camp. I'd be surprised if it's made, and I'd be even more surprised if it's good.
With that said, I REALLY hope I'm proved wrong.

To all skeptics out there, let me just point out that the majority of people on this site used to watch Smallville...And even if you didn't, you still watched it, even if only for Booster's cameo.
So with that in mind...Good or bad, is that so much of a difference when we all know that we all are going to watch it anyway? :)

You are right, deusex2. I'd still watch the show if turns out to be as bad as the third season of Heroes. But that doesn't mean I have to hope for a bad television show, does it? I have a complete run of EXTREME JUSTICE just because Booster is in it, after all. That doesn't mean that they are good or that I could recommend them to anyone unfamiliar with my favorite character. Same case with this TV show.
