New Release: Heroes in Crisis 7
Heroes in Crisis #7 arrives in your Local Comic Shop today, but it's already had a bit of controversy. The originally solicited, "unfinished," cover by Clay Mann was pulled back in December at the request of Tom King. It was replaced by this, the final cover by Mitch Gerads:
I have to say that I like this new cover much better, not the least because this one shows Booster Gold! (Sure, he's getting thrown around by Superman, but Superman throws everyone around. Jerk.)
You can find an issue preview online at DenOfGeek.com in which Blue Beetle and Batgirl have a conversation! (Brace yourself: Batgirl continues to be written like no incarnation of the character I've ever read before. Maybe she's the killer?)

Pointing the Finger
If you look at that Heroes in Crisis house ad I reposted on Monday, you'll see that DC claimed the list of potential murders is limited to
Arsenal
Beast Boy
Booster Gold
Catwoman
Cyborg
Damage
Deathstroke
Green Arrow
Harley Quinn
John Constantine
Kyle Rayner
Lex Luthor
Mr. Terrific
Nightwing
Poison Ivy
Red Robin
Superman
The Atom
The Riddler
Wally West
Wonder Woman
So that was the list I used when I created Monday's poll asking who Booster boosters believe the Sanctuary killer really is.
Given that we already know that Booster Gold and Harley Quinn accuse one another of being "the" murderer, they had to be poll options. Internet rumors have fingered Wally West for months, so I included him. I chose Poison Ivy to round out the poll options because other than Superman and Wonder Woman, neither of whom is likely to have gone kill crazy, Ivy is the only other character in the list who has actually been mentioned in the series so far. I have a hard time believing that even Tom King would resolve his story by revealing a character that wasn't in any of the previous issues.
Given those four options, you chose none of the above.
Last week's poll question: Who is responsible for the deaths at Sanctuary as seen in Heroes in Crisis? (38 votes)
So who are you thinking?

Elementary, My Dear
Now that we're 2/3 of the way through Heroes in Crisis, we should have all the players, even if we still don't know all the clues. That's means it's finally time to start guessing. Whondunnit?
DC released the above tease in the pages of DC Nation #2 last July. Note the promise that one of the indicated characters will be "a murderer," two would be murdered, and three would be accused. Let's pretend that DC was playing fair.
Thus far, it seems only Booster and Harley have been accused. Will share some blame? Aren't three of the characters in that ad dead? And, most importantly, who's the guilty party?

New Release: Heroes in Crisis 6
You may recall that when first announced, Heroes in Crisis was originally intended to be a seven issue series with a couple of stand-alone tie-in books. Plans changed, and those stand-alone issues were folded into the series.
The first was issue #3, which focused in part on Booster Gold's actions just before the story started. The second, issue #6, comes out today. Judging the book by its cover, I think we can expect it to show what Harley Quinn was doing when the Sanctuary killings began.
Note that Mitch Gerads is the credited artist for the issue, replacing Clay Mann. Mann's art has been the strength of the series so far, but Gerads shouldn't be considered a step down. Gerads worked with series writer Tom King to create their acclaimed Mister Miracle mini-series.
Also note that neither the issue's solicitation text nor the preview, available on SuperheroHype.com, guarantee Booster Gold will actually appear in the issue. I'll be buying it anyway.
[UPDATE: Booster appears on exactly one page. I think. (It's getting increasingly hard to tell what "reality" is in this series).]
