Finally addressing his mysterious motivation and odd behavior in Batman Beyond #48, Booster Gold and Skeets meets with an aged Bruce Wayne in the Gotham City of the future to confirm that their plan to fix a time paradox has worked. Booster Gold's exact age at the time of this meeting is unclear, but his mustache and hairstyle would seem to place him in his fifties, as last seen in DC Cybernetic Summer #1.

BORROWING THE CAR: It is explained that at Wayne's urging, the older Booster enlisted his younger self (through Rip Hunter, maybe?) to take Terry McGinnis back in time to ensure that events written in the diary of Warren McGinnis, Terry's father, came to pass as described. This an example of a time-travel boostrap paradox wherein the heroes' action are required to set the events in motion that would inevitably lead to their initial action. Creating a paradox of this sort would seem an unusually convoluted way to resolve what may be a simple misreading of a diary, but Booster Gold surely knows more about the complications of time travel than anyone else and Bruce Wayne is always right. If they say this was necessary, we should just take their word for it.
Boosterrific Review: Dan Jurgens once again does what he does best: delivering a reliably entertaining, character-driven superhero slugfest.
