In reaction to Xiang Po's ascension to the creature Gloss, Booster makes a pun about all that glistens not being gold. Nearby, Flash grumbles at the pun, a misquoting of a Shakespearean line (see Issue Notes for Action Comics #594 for more details on that bit of literary trivia).

Booster Gold is first person to congratulate the Chosen on their new lives and powers. (The Chosen, along with Harbinger, will go on to become the super-team the New Guardians.) While doing so, Booster credits the phrase "The Long and Winding Road" to The Bard. That's the traditional popular nickname for William Shakespeare, but in this case, the bard in question is Sir Paul McCartney, who wrote the song of that name that appeared on The Beatles' 1970 album Let It Be.

As the heroes separate to return to their lives, Booster gives Batman a lift, perhaps to demonstrate that there are no hard feelings since their fight in Millennium #6, at least so far as Booster is concerned. Batman, however, can hold a grudge for a very long time.
Boosterrific Review: Ugh. It feels like this mini-series lasted 1,000 years. This overdue conclusion to Millennium at last introduces the heroic personas of the Chosen Ones, and the result is less than spectacular. Who could have guessed that the evolution of mankind would be so boring?
Boosterrific Rating: Tarnished.
