Booster Gold Television Series Is a Zombie
Mike Cecchini spoke to Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Phil Klemmer at Comic Con, and somehow he got this quote:
"[Andrew Kriesberg's Booster Gold television series]'s not dead, but it is not..." [Klemmer] caught himself. "I don't know. But it's not dead."
To recap: SyFy optioned a Booster Gold pilot from writer Andrew Kriesberg and Berlanti Production back in 2011. There was a lot of back-and-forth about the status of the script, no pilot was ever ordered, then news about the status of the teased series dried up as first Arrow then Flash took off on the CW Network.
So what does this new information mean? Go check out the full article at DenOfGeek.us and decide for yourself.

Pick Your Poison
There are no small roles. Just small heroes.
Last week's poll question: Would you want Booster Gold to have a small role in a DC movie even if it meant he couldn't have his own show? (56 votes)
If you were one of the majority who thinks that Booster should hold out for starring roles, you can't be happy to see that our hero will be relegated to guest and cameo comic book appearances in the foreseeable future.

A Face Made for Radio
I like the New 52 Booster Gold less every time I see him, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to give up on the character just yet.
Last week's poll question: Do you intend to keep buying Booster Gold comics now that you know New 52 Booster isn't pre-Flashpoint Booster? (49 votes)
The big DC Comics news these days is all about either Arrow/Flash/Legends of Tomorrow on television or the Superman V Batman movie. It seems like these are two separate universes, and characters from one are excluded from the other. If that's the case, what part should Booster Gold play?

This Day in History: Batman Was Dead Then Too
DC would have us believe that following the Convergence break Batman will be dead again. If this sounds like an overused cliche, perhaps that's because it is. It was only five years ago today that Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #2 saw Booster Gold join DC's best-selling heroes on a trip through time in search of the caped crusader.
The Time Masters played almost no role in recovering Bruce Wayne then, and they are very unlikely to show up around Gotham this time either. Rip Hunter is too busy memorizing his lines for his upcoming television series, DC's Legends of Tomorrow (a weird name for a show whose newest character first saw print nearly 40 years ago).
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Vacation Art: Day Four
I don't typically enjoy seeing comic book stories in live action, but if there was a Booster Gold show on television, I'd watch.
Last week's poll question: Would a Booster Gold show find an audience on network television? (74 votes)
Until we can get Booster Gold on TV, we've got him in our comics, but that's not good enough for some. They like to commission Booster Gold custom art to hang on the living room wall. How about you?
