Find the Hidden Oject
If you aren't following Futures End but you are an obsessive Booster Gold collector (you know who you are), then remember to grab a copy of Futures End #25 at your Local Comic Shop this week. It's your first chance to get a Ryan Sook-drawn Booster Gold.
Beware: Booster is clearly visible just above the masthead, but he appears nowhere in the pages within. This isn't the first time Booster has appeared on a cover but not the pages in between. That would have been Justice League International #39 in 1990. In that case, the artist was the incomparable Adam Hughes. At least when Booster appears only on covers, the art tends to be pretty good.
(FYI: IF you aren't regularly reading Futures End, don't expect the issue to make any sense. As a stand alone issue, boy, is this thing impenetrable.)

I Spy with My Brother Eye
After months of waiting, DC's time cop Booster Gold will finally reappear in Futures End. More specifically, I should say on Futures End.
The cover to Futures End #25, drawn by Ryan Sook, was unveiled earlier this week on HitFix.com, many pre-Flashpoint characters are depicted, including Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and Booster Gold. Booster wears his very first costume — defined by a pentagram star — as it appeared in Booster Gold Volume 1, #1 back in 1985.
Does this mean we'll see Booster in action inside the book? I guess we'll find out when it hits stands on October 22.

It's What Makes Time Travel Possible
The people have spoken. It's good to have you back, Booster.
Last week's poll question: What's your initial response to Booster Gold: Futures End #1? (71 votes)
Earlier this week, Jesster had a suggestion for the poll:
Which time machine do you think is the most famous?
Well?

You Think Black Beetle Is...
I admit that the list of possibilities I gave you in the last poll included a lot of heroes. That must mean that I expect an Armageddon 2001-style resolution to the mystery, doesn't I? I can't lie. I rather enjoyed Armageddon 2001. (Ah, for the days when summer meant themed annuals....)
Last week's poll question: Who do you think the Black Beetle is? (59 votes)
This week's big news was the triumphant return of Booster Gold to comic racks everywhere! (At least everywhere in America that has comic shops.) Surely you've read it by now. What did you think?
