Remember the Time
Hey, Booster Gold, no more JLI? Back to the basics!
David Branstetter, creator of Strawman Comics, posted his image of "classic" Booster Gold drawn for Bouserthedog on his Deviant Art site. In his words:
The joke here is that Bouserthedog asked for the 80's version of Booster Gold. Seeing how Booster Gold is aware of future events I thought it would be funny if he was commenting on his own costume change.
As bad as they were, some of Booster's terrible 1990s costumes were still better than his current DCnU costume. *shudder*

Power Goes to His Head
Combine an attention-hounding rapper with a media-grabbing time traveler, and what you get is pure art.
Captain Senator created the above piece incorporating the opening lines of Kanye West's song "Power." The piece is appropriately titled "Kanye Plus Comics: Booster Gold" and was intended to be part of a series. You can see more of the Captain's work on her Deviant Art page, but I especially recommend her sketch of "Booster Gold beating up dinosaurs with lasers on their heads."
Reminder: there will be no Boosterrific.com blog post on Monday, May 28, 2012 because of the Memorial Day holiday. Enjoy the long weekend.

The Animated Art of Denver Brubaker
Denver Brubaker is most prominently known as the mastermind behind the web comic Tales of a Checkered Man, but the man also has a soft spot for a particularly comedic duo.
For someone with his own webcomic to promote, Brubaker finds plenty of time to share the love with Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. The image above was Brubaker's contribution to a thread of Blue Beetle and Booster Gold fan art that he instigated over a year ago on Comic Vine. In more recent months, Brubaker has tried to drum up support for a Blue and Gold webcomic at Outcast studios and showcased another image of Blue and Gold on Comics Alliance.
You can find more of the talented Mr. Brubaker's work at thecheckeredman.deviantart.com and, of course, checkeredman.com.

Laundry Day
I found this some time ago at supermannerd.tumblr.com and have been looking for a reason to post it. Today, I decided I was done waiting.
I don't know who made this or why. I just know that it's damn awesome.
UPDATE 05/09/12: DustinWildcard dropped by the comments section to take credit for this work, "DC Comics Minimalist Posters." You can find more of his work at his DeviantArt.com page (under the alias Dustin Von Doom) or his tumblr blog, Comics! Comics! Comics!. Great work, Dustin.

Rubber Ducky, You're the One
Would this make Batman Oscar the Grouch?
Much of the work of Candadian artist Marco D'Alfonso is comprised of clever pop culture smash-ups. From Blue Beetle and Booster Gold as Bert and Ernie (seen above) to Ghost Rider on Shotaro Kaneda's motorcycle (from Akirm), his work is fun and clever. You can find more of his work under the pseudonym m7781 on Deviant Art.
