Skeets, International Man of Mystery
With appearances in Secret Six #36 and Titans #38, Booster Gold has shown up in a couple of series finales other than his own. In both of those issues, Booster's been on his own, his sidekick nowhere to be seen. So where has Skeets been? Having adventures of his own, apparently.

This picture was seen in the final issue of Batgirl #24 as part of a prolonged drug-induced hallucination. Unfortunately there is no evidence that Skeets -- who so rarely gets to leave Booster's shadow -- has actually been traveling through time with the three Batgirls and having grand adventures with the Blackhawks in World War II. But just because we don't have any record of it doesn't mean it didn't really happen. Skeets does have the ability to erase memories, after all.
Issue writer Bryan Q. Miller clarified the page's meaning on his director's cut of the issue posted on the Tumblr blog DC Women Kicking Ass:
PAGE 15 - Steph [Stephanie Brown] never did get to have an adventure with Cass [Cassandra Cain] during the pages of the book - this adventure/vision finds Batgirl Steph and Skeets on an adventure through time to find a wayward Booster, joined by Batgirls Babs [Barbara Gordon] and Cass.
Thanks to Morgenstern in the Boosterrific Forums for pointing out this panel.

Booster Gold Interview Today
Sadly, Booster Gold has been unavoidably detained, but writer Dan Jurgens and co-artist Norm Rapmund will be available in his stead.

Jurgens has written and drawn more Booster Gold appearances than any other writer or artist. Rapmund has inked far more Booster appearances than any other inker. Combined, the pair have worked on over 177 Booster Gold stories! If you've got Booster Gold questions, these are the guys to ask.
The pair will be interviewed by Comic Related contributor Russ Burlingame and broadcast in the near future as part of Burlingame's Panel Discussions podcast. Burlingame will be recording his call in show at 3PM EDT. If you've got something you'd like to say to Jurgens, Rapmund, or Burlingame but a conflicting schedule, call early and leave them a message at (315) 464-0046.

Be a Booster Booster: Boycott Event Series
Readers love 'em, as evidenced by the fact that they sell like wildfire. But event books -- those mega summer crossovers -- have treated Booster Gold very poorly.
Booster lost his wealth and his title to Millennium. He temporarily ceased to exist in Zero Hour. Identity Crisis -- admittedly a downer for everyone in the DCU thanks to the the inferiority-complex driven rapist super villain and the ethically challenged heroes as a glorified red herring -- killed his relationship with Firehawk. Infinite Crisis went a step further and killed his best friend. And now Flashpoint has him failing at his job and losing his second title.
Those don't even include losing his powers to "Death of Superman" or his sidekick to evil in 52, both of which are more media stunts than event-driven mini-series. (If "Death of Superman" were done today, there would be 14 tie-in mini-series.) Booster should probably count his blessings that his involvement in Underworld Unleashed and Final Crisis was so limited.
Do good things ever happen to anyone in event series? Because good things certainly don't happen to Booster Gold.

Heroes! Homages Boosterrific
You know you've made it when your site masthead appears in other site's web comics. Hey, if Eyz can borrow the Boosterrific.com logo, the least I can do in return is steal promote his latest Heroes! strip.
It's funny because it's topical. And it's funny. (And those Sexy Spandersâ„¢ still look better than his DCnU costume.)
To see the larger, original-sized strip or to read Eyz's other strips, head over to heroes-comix.blogspot.com.

Gold Exchange: Booster Gold #47
Booster Gold, Volume 2, has seen its last issue. Does that mean that Russ Burlingame's most recent "Gold Exchange" column at ComicRelated.com is also his last? Here's hoping for more. I don't know how many more endings I can take right now.
As usual, Burlingame asked Dan Jurgens all the right questions, and Jurgens replied by decisively answering the most pressing question of all: the fate of Skeets.
GX: What's in the backpack that Booster brought back with him from the Flashpoint Universe? Looking at #45 I can't seem to find him filling it before he leaves the cabin.
DJ: Skeets! He puts Skeets in the backpack previously, right as he left the cabin in the woods.
What a relief! Loosing Skeets to Flashpoint would have been a terrible insult to a great supporting character. Skeets, we're looking forward to seeing you in the DCnU.
