Ready for the Future
The server migration is complete. Mostly. There are some lingering problems with the Forum, and it will remain closed until debug is complete. Otherwise, everything else appears to be working fine. If you note anything broken, please let me know in the comments or via email at webmaster at Boosterrific.com.
The above pin-up pretty much sums up my current optimism. It was created by Michael Birkhofer a few years ago, but good art never goes out of style. You can find more of Birkhofer's work on his website mbirkhofer.com and commission information at mbirkhofer.deviantart.com.
[UPDATE 01/23/12: Forum is now restored and re-opened.]

Nothing to See Here
No, this is not a post about the new DC logo. Which as I'm sure you would expect, I don't like, mainly because to me it says "facebook digital widget" instead of "imaginative entertainment." Look no further than DC's Twitter feed here to see a practical example of how hard this new design is to read and how little information it conveys.
But back to the original point of this post: as mentioned recently, Boosterrific.com is going through some continued server maintenance. The site will be migrated to a new server at some point during this weekend. This will definitely result in some down-time for the site, and the forum will likely be closed for most of the weekend. Hopefully, everything can be restored to function in its new home by Monday.
In the meantime, everyone try to enjoy your non-Boosterrific weekend, no matter what DC looks like.

Make Some Room
It shouldn't really come as a shock that most of us are just in it for the Gold, the Booster Gold.
Last week's poll question: How does the new JLI compare to the original? (36 votes)
Since the end of the first JLI story is a natural occasion to switch up the roster, it's a good time to look towards the future. Some new characters will soon be available following the cancellation of their titles, it makes since that at least some of them should end up in an ensemble title like Justice League International.

New Old Releases: Suicide Squad
The trade collection of the final issues of the canceled Secret Six is published today. Included in the collection will be Booster Gold's appearance in Secret Six #36 for those that missed Booster's showdown with the Six in the rush towards the New 52.
On another note, Blue Beetle and Captain Atom -- both of which see their 5th issue released today -- are two titles that drop within range of the next swing of DC's cancellation hatchet after DC's announced cancellations last week. If DC is looking to make some space for a "Third Wave" of titles, these characters should be getting nervous. Since both have history with previous incarnations of the JLI, what's the chance that after their seemingly-inevitable cancellation these characters will end up on Booster's Justice League?
Skeets would probably prefer that you not buy any of these issues if it means any possibility of a return for a Booster and Skeets title.

White Lantern Booster Gold
Remember that time that Booster Gold was declared legally dead? No? Justice League Task Force #13? That's okay, saber4735 does, and he has made a custom White Lantern Booster Gold to prove it.
If Blackest Night is included in the DCnU continuity but Ted Kord isn't, does that mean that Booster Gold has never encountered White or Black Lanterns? And if Booster was a White Lantern, doesn't that mean that he could resurrect Ted Kord? And since Skeets is a robot, how could he be a White Lantern?
Whatever the case, there are more pictures of the figure at figurerealm.com.
