Which Booster Gold Do You Want to See on TV?
Take note, DC. Booster Gold's fans are very loyal.
Last week's poll question: Do you buy comics for Booster Gold when he only makes a cameo appearance? (50 votes)
Super hero television shows come in all types. In the 50s, Adventures of Superman played straightforward action/adventure. Batman reinvented camp in the 60s, and Shazam! educated kids in the 70s. The 80s saw a more sophisticated humor on The Greatest American Hero. In the 90s, The Flash tried to translate comic-inspired characters into the "real" world for a mass audience. The 2000s saw the origin story unfold slowly over the course of a decade in Smallville. Now Arrow brings heroes to the small screen as a soap opera (with flashbacks!).

While We Are Discussing Costume Changes
Jim Lee isn't the only one who can redesign a costume. Take a look at this re-imagining by Femmes-Fatalaes:

Dan Jurgens Talks Booster Gold
Morgenstern hasn't bought a DC comic in months, but he's still trolling the web for Booster Gold. And today he's found for us Dan Jurgens talking Booster Gold with Con Men at the 2013 Phoenix Comicon.
Asked whether or not Jurgens thinks Booster's pre-Flashpoint DCU memories survived the transition to the New 52 DCnU, he says, "[Booster] was outside time and space. Draw your own conclusions.... I think it's pretty clear."
Thanks, Morgenstern. (Also thanks to Con Men Interviews and, of course, Dan Jurgens!)

I Prefer My Heroes to Wear Gold Pants
We've talked about it in the Boosterrific Blog comments and on the Boosterrific Forum. So I might as well put it here, too.

Yes, that's Booster Gold making his entrance in All-Star Western #28. And yes, other than the gauntlets and the bicep stripes (which do not appear in any other panel in the issue), he is clearly wearing his pre-Flashpoint costume.
The debate we're having is whether this was an accident on the part of artist Fabrizio Fiorentino, or if this was an intentional change to Booster's costume authorized by DC Editorial. I don't have the answer. What do you think?
