Why Not a Booster Gold Blog
When I first added the daily blog to this site in January, 2010, I half-jokingly worried whether there would be "enough Booster Gold related news to blog about on a nearly daily basis." It's taken five years, but at last it appears my fears have come true.
Despite continually being rumored to have a television show or movie in the works, there's no hint our hero has or will appear in Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, or Legends of Tomorrow. He also has gone missing-in-action in DC Comics comic books (152 days and counting). By my reckoning, there has been an average of only one "newsworthy" piece of Booster Gold news per month since June.
It's becoming hard to justify a daily blog devoted to Booster Gold news when there isn't any. Therefore, effective today, I'll be cutting blog posts back to three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I believe that this reduced schedule will allow me to maintain a higher quality of post content.
Even though I am cutting back, I remain confident that this latest drought won't last much longer. Booster Gold isn't the sort of hero content to ride the bench for too long.

Year in Review 2015: Number 1
To my great surprise, when looking back at the year that was here at Boosterrific.com, none of the posts that generated any significant "heat" had anything to do with Convergence or Bat-Mite or anything DC Comics was doing. In fact, the number one most visited post was this one featuring cosplayer Muyra that ran in February.
Proving once again that no one can resist a good looking guy in gold tights. You can find more of Muyra's work on Facebook.
Happy New Year, everyone.

Year in Review 2015: Number 2
My occasional alternate history posts never generate any feedback, so I'm amazed that the second most visited post on the year was this one from August 25.
It was on this day in 1875 that Captain Matthew Webb became the first person recorded to successfully swim the English Channel unaided.
Webb's feat was a carefully crafted bit of public showmanship. That the crossing had never been done and was thought impossible fueled the public's interest. The accomplishment made Webb famous and rich.
Hmm. Bold athletic achievements motivated by gambling? Instant and eternal fame? It sounds like this is just the sort of event that would inspire a certain time-traveling tourist we know.
I'm guessing Matt Webb has a big family who like to Google his name.
The top post of 2015 will be revealed Tomorrow.
