Justa Lotta International
We started the week with Dan DiDio's version of Blue Beagle and Rooster Gold, but we all know that's not what the heroes on Earth-C Earth-26 Earth-C-Minus look like. They look more like this:
Thanks to Scott Shaw! for co-creating Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew and the Justa Lotta Animals. That was a quality funny-book, sir.

What Are You Laughing At?
Whatever you look like, it's good to see you again, old friend.
Last week's poll question: What do you think of Skeets' New 52 look as seen in the tease for Booster Gold's Convergence tie-in? (69 votes)
A post by Grimmy in the Boosterrific Forum discussion of last week's Justice League 3000 inspired today's question.

New Release: Now with Less Booster Gold
If you visit your Local Comic Shop today, the cover of Smallville: Continuity #1 might catch your eye. Buyer beware! Booster Gold may appear prominently on Cat Staggs' cover, but he is found nowhere inside the book.
This is the second time in recent months that Booster will appear on a cover without participating in the story within. Booster was on the cover of Futures End #25, and he hasn't been seen in that story since May!
So if you're a Booster Gold completist, you're going to want a copy of Smallville: Continuity #1. Otherwise, consider saving your money for an extra copy of Booster's Convergence crossover next April.

Time to Let Someone Else Talk
I like it when bloggers I like talk about Booster Gold because that means I get to share links to their work.
Today I point you to Siskoid's Blog of Geekery, where Siskoid gives Skeets full credit for saving the life of America's Greatest President as seen in Booster Gold, Volume 1, #9.
One note about the encounter that Siskoid leaves out: Reagan rewarded Booster with the gift of a pair of kittens, Jack and Jill. Skeets never liked the cats, so they were gifted to Booster's secretary, Trixie Collins. And that's the last we ever heard about that. (Get to work on correcting that oversight, Geoff Johns!)
