Another International Justice League Disbanded

You might recall that DC teased us after Convergence with news that Justice League United was being revamped to include future guest appearances by assorted DC heroes, including Booster Gold.

Never mind.

DC has announced it is cancelling Justice League United effective with issue #16 shipping in December. If Booster doesn't make an appearance in the series by then, he's going to need to start his own team.

For more information on this and the other four titles that DC is canceling, visit ComicBookResources.com

Kevin Shinick Says Don't Bother Watching

Russ Burlingame recently interviewed Robot Chicken writer Kevin Shinick. Burlingame asked whether Booster Gold would make an appearance in the upcoming Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship.

Burlingame: Any more Booster Gold? You know I have to ask.

Shinick: You know, sadly, I don't think he's in this one. I voiced him [before] and so when I cut him down, I'm like "Come on!"

See the headline at the top of this post? That's how I interpreted Shinick's admission. It's that knee-jerk response to bad news from people like me that keeps Dan DiDio from telling us the truth about what DC is and is not planning. That means that I'm part of the problem.

If I want to make the world a better place, I guess I'll just have to watch Robot Chicken's DC special despite it containing 0% Gold.

You can read the full interview, in which Shinick discusses some of the other things he's involved with that have nothing to do with Booster Gold, such as a Scooby-Doo/KISS crossover, at ComicBook.com.

Nothing Says Etsy Like a Booster Gold Ornament

It might seem a little early for a Christmas post, but it's not. At least not when we're talking about hand-painted Booster Gold Christmas ornaments.

Booster Gold ornaments from ThePerfectCup on etsy.com

Those ornaments were created by ThePerfectCup, who also makes a Blue Beetle ornament (for the reasonable price of just $15). These ornaments can take up to a month to paint and ship, so if you'd like to see a little Blue and Gold on your tree this year, visit ThePerfectCup on etsy.com today.

Fate of the Boosterrific Forum

Tough crowd!

Last week's poll question: Which element is most important to defining the character of Booster Gold? (54 votes)

Which element is most important to defining the character of Booster Gold?

There hasn't been a lot of Booster Gold news lately. As a result, the Boosterrific.com Forum has become a bit of a white elephant. It's never really become a destination for conversations as I had once hoped, and it's been a desert wasteland in recent months. While the forum has its uses when Booster is in the spotlight, I don't like to see pieces around here collecting dust. Has the time come to shutter its doors?
