Issue Notes: This story in this book is a tie-in to the summer-long "Armageddon 2001" storyline running throughout the 1991 DC annuals. The future events depicted in this issue, including future depictions of Booster Gold, have since proven impossible in DC Universe continuity.

ALTERNATE REALITY: In one possible future witnessed by Waverider, Superman is confronted by Justice Leaguers Martian Manhunter, Fire, and Booster Gold over Superman's refusal to accept that he has accidentally killed 7 men on an American nuclear submarine.
