The editor's box is inaccurate. While Booster Gold and the Flash did see the future destroyed by Darkseid in Justice League: The Omega Act Special #1, they didn't tell Superman what they had seen until DC K.O. #1.

This editor's box is accurate. Superman was indeed sent to the future in Superman #29 (by Superboy-Prime) where Superman rescued Booster Gold. That fact might be worth mentioning explicitly for new readers because it is explicitly paralleled...

Boosterrific Review: If you don't expect much from this issue (like, for example, why it's titled "Year One Thousand"), you'll probably be satisfied with the great art and meandering but inconsequential story. It's far more interested in setting up the next event than explaining the last one.
