ANNOTATIONS

Page 5, panel 1
Apparently unaware that teammates August General in Iron, Godiva, and Guy Gardner are in a fight with OMAC just a few blocks away, Batman, Batwing, and Booster Gold have a calm strategy discussion in a New York City street about the motivators behind a recent spate of terrorist attacks.

Page 5, panel 3
HIS STORY: After over-hearing an audio report from Skeets, Batwing acts surprised to learn that Booster Gold is actually from the future. It isn't clear whether this attitude is common among the populace of the DCnU, or if it is just a continuation of Batwing's anti-Booster attitude demonstrated in the previous issue.

Page 6, panel 1
Skeets -- who is heard but not seen in this issue -- notifies Booster that the Eiffel Tower has been bombed in circumstances similar to those of the recent New York bombing. This new terrorist act can be seen in The Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men #8.

Page 7, panel 4
POWER UP: Booster Gold, Batman, and Batwing finally join their teammates in the fight against OMAC. Booster Gold's Booster Shots are powerful enough to knock OMAC out of the sky, though they don't appear to be powerful enough to cause him any injury.

Page 10, panel 3
Both Booster Gold and Skeets act as though they have never heard of an OMAC before. Whether their memory of OMACs were erased by the history-changing events of Flashpoint or whether they are pretending ignorant to protect their identities as secret policemen of the time stream remains unclear.

Page 15, panel 3
With OMAC subdued and apologetic for his unexplained rage, the JLI agrees that OMAC should accompany the team to Paris so that the team can keep an eye on him.

Page 19, panel 1
Aboard Guy Gardner's jet construct, Booster Gold and Godiva discuss the fact that the team hasn't taken the time to mourn their fallen comrades. With Batman and Batwing sitting mutely nearby, Booster's excuse is essentially "we're too busy." Which is true: if the no-longer-sanctioned Justice League International doesn't solve Firestorm's problem, who will? The JLA? The Teen Titans? Stormwatch? S.H.A.D.E.? The Blackhawks? French authorities? Clearly, this is a job for the under-staffed not-JLI.

Page 20, panel 1
Arriving at the base of the Eiffel Tower, the JLI is surprised to find several Firestorm Protocol variants flying around the severely damaged Tower.

It's a filler issue...A reason to toss in OMAC. Fillers are needed, but I'm getting tired of hearing the same thing from Godiva: 'I'm over my head. I didn't expect this. I just wanted some PR' -- We get it Dora, you aren't used to this. Other than that, I did like it as a filler issue, though I'm wanting to see Skeets and the Mysterious Black Haired Woman...Did Dan promise use them a bit ago? Also...Is it just me, or did Guy look like IronMan when he had his green armour on?
