Not really sure at this point. I am really not that thrilled at the origin, hate the costume and am not that thrilled at the attitude. I thin he was alright in the Nu-JLI but since then, I have been less and less thrilled. I'm going to give it a shot but if it doesn't improve, I'm done. That is assuming we even see Booster more than once a year.

I must respectfully abstain for the moment. Officially junking all the character development Booster has had for 30 years is a rather bitter blow to take, not to mention that the 'new' Booster's origin is even shadier than the 'old' origin. IF this Booster shapes up a bit and IF he gets some decent character development, I might bite, but for now, I intend to pretend none of the nu52 ever happened.

ditto, we voted yes but, it depends. I am happy to see Waverider, but does that mean that Rip hunters dad will no longer exist?

Nothing is permanent in comics, and since Booster is time travel based, there's plenty of opportunities to tell 'Untold Stories' that take place before Convergence

DCnU isn't the only Booster. There's still JL3000 Booster. And because old Booster wasn't wiped out, we may see more of his past sometimes. So, what I'm saying that while the DCnU still exists, it no longer has a tyranny, as you said, and there are likely to be several interesting out-of-continuity Boosters in the near future. And who knows, a new writer could get his or her hands on this new Booster and make him interesting.

And Bob, keep in mind that Booster become Waverider as a middle-aged man, long after Rip was born, so I don't see it causing any problems for him.

good I'm glad cause last time I checked outside of the New 52 Lair Lee was also waverider. That is how Time Masters ended.

I am definitely not satisfied, but I haven't given up hope yet. It is a change they can work with given the right writer and the right plans.

Come on, everybody loves time travel!

On a related note, the CW confirmed their new Arrow/Flash spinoff is titled "Legends of Tomorrow" and will follow Rip Hunter selecting a few heroes across time to help him prevent disaster (the likes of Hawkgirl, Kid Flash, the first Canary, etc.).
So, basically Time Masters (the 1990s miniseries), with superheroes instead of regular folks.

Let's see: Doctor Who, Quantum Leap, Lost, and Heroes all had time travelers and all have done pretty darn well on TV. Heck even Voyagers did well in the 80's. So yes, Booster Gold time traveling in the DC universe would have to be a huge hit as long as they let him travel through all character's pasts and not just a selected few.
