When I asked this 5 years ago, Booster Gold Volume 2 received 48% of the vote. It's only getting more popular over time.
Last week's poll question: Which era of Booster Gold has been your favorite? (58 votes)
While a lot of people are talking about the Booster Gold/Blue Beetle movie, we still don't even know which Blue Beetle it will be. Who do you want to see?

You mean besides Skeets, right? My "Dream choice" would be Booster (+Skeets) together with Ted, who would eventually (sequel) move to a supporting role and Jaime as a new hero under the guidance of Booster & Ted

Yes, I mean besides Skeets. (I assume that there is going to be a Skeets, but that it will only be used as a sidekick not a equal.)

I think either one would be good. It'd be hard to imagine him costarring with Dan Garrett though. However, I do approve of Booster meeting Dan Garrett. Have they ever met?

Yes. In BOOSTER GOLD V2 #5.

The ayes have it. The forum will stick around while we wait for DC to give us something to fill it with.
Last week's poll question: Does this site need to keep its forum? (44 votes)
This question is a variant of a question I first asked over 5 years ago. (Can you believe Boosterrific.com has been running polls for five years? Time flies when you're voting in polls.)

It is difficult for me because I kind of think Booster's arc in 52 as part of volume 2. :P But I think volume 2 shows the best Booster ever.

I may be biased because it was my first real introduction to the character (i started around no. 34) but Volume 2 for me.
It has the most range of Boosters character imo and i enjoy the variety of the plots and references to previous comics.
Also I just really love time travel (and rani. i love her so much)
(also sorry if this posted twice my computer is being weird)

Tough choice. My heart says Original JLI, but my head says V2 unsung time cop. Time to pull out my Harvey Dent coin...

My dad introduced me to the character after he randomly picked up an issue or two from Vol. 2. He said the character was sympathetic, the stories were entertaining, and I have to agree with both. Hence, Booster became my favorite male superhero. I'm biased I suppose because I started with Vol. 2, but I have read (and collected prior) all his JLI stuff, and I have all of Vol. 1.
Anything after Vol. 2 has just been a complete disappointment.

Vol. 1 or Vol. 2? This is like trying to choose between your 2 favorite flavors of ice cream when you can only afford one.

Tough crowd!
Last week's poll question: Which element is most important to defining the character of Booster Gold? (54 votes)
There hasn't been a lot of Booster Gold news lately. As a result, the Boosterrific.com Forum has become a bit of a white elephant. It's never really become a destination for conversations as I had once hoped, and it's been a desert wasteland in recent months. While the forum has its uses when Booster is in the spotlight, I don't like to see pieces around here collecting dust. Has the time come to shutter its doors?

I love Booster and I love this site. Let's continue with the site!

I do kind of feel bad for suggesting it now in the first place. While I would be sad to see it gone, the current activity (or rather lack thereof) does not justify the cost/effort it requires. Of course this might very well change once Booster is fully out of the limbo but we can't know when that will be..and based on the NuBoosters track record it would even be questionable how enjoyable his return might turn out.

@Ariel I'm not talking about shuttering the whole site. Just the largely unused Forum:
http://www.boosterrific.com/forum/
@Morgenstern I think it was (and remains) a good idea. It's useful for breaking news posts (when there are any). However, if no one is using it as a forum for discussion, maybe there's another, better way to spread that news that people might be more inclined to visit.

I'm on the fence here. I like Nathan Fillion, but he is not my ideal Booster Gold. Judging by these numbers, I'm not alone.
Last week's poll question: Should Nathan Fillion be cast as Booster Gold? (54 votes)
Comic book characters get reinvented all the time. Even the perennial-sellers like Superman and Batman aren't the same characters they were 70, 30, or even 10 years ago. They keep their names and their capes and their dead parents, but that's about all. That makes me wonder what parts of a Booster Gold's character are so essential that they can't be changed?

I think more than any of these is his drive to be a hero. Yes, he strives to benefit by it, but he genuinely cares about doing right by people. For me, the two most iconic moments for Booster are his decision to rebuild the skyscraper which had housed his penthouse after it had been destroyed--which marked him as a unique hero who sought to use his own wealth not just to further himself or to further his crime-fighting, but to use it for the good of Metropolis--and when, just before his death, Ted Kord reflected on Booster's actions in the attack in which Superman died--which marked Booster out as the kind of hero who would give his all even when he knew for certain he would fail (captured again in his efforts for Barbara Gordon early on in Vol. 2).
Boosterrific [Official Comment] posted on Sep. 3, 2015 at 2:36 PM
As much as I appreciate Booster's determination to being a hero, that's not really a characteristic unique to the character. Superman has it, Batman has it, Guy Gardner has it, Fire and Ice have it, Blue Beetle had it, etc. While it is clearly a cornerstone of Booster's personality, that attribute is almost a prerequisite to being a hero in the DCU.
Tinuvial posted on Sep. 3, 2015 at 11:04 PM
For me Booster wouldn't be Booster without three things: the sense of humor, his checkered future-past, and his...well, not willingness but acceptance...of being the hero who "lives down to expectations" and then gets stuff down.
I'm thinking specifically of Vol. 2 when Booster pretended that trying to get into the Justice League was just a publicity stunt so he and Rip could stop the evil Supernova.

If Booster Gold is really the comic book equivalent of Kim Kardashian, he must be rich. (Forbes.com estimates she earned $52 million last year alone!)
Last week's poll question: Should New 52 Booster Gold return to the wealthy Corporate Crusader persona of Volume 1? (31 votes)
This week we learned that Nathan Fillion would want to play Booster Gold in a DC movie, it seems only fair to decide whether we would want him to.
