Year in Review 2016: Number 1
Surprise, surprise. The most visited post in 2016 was one of Boosterrific.com's few polls on the year. This one originally ran the week of June 10, when I asked you "How satisfied are you with Rebirth so far?"
I had cut back on polls in 2016 because I felt they weren't generating much interest. Well, this one sure did. There have been polls with more voters, but few have gathered so many views.
Since we're on the subject, I might as well follow up. When last I asked, Rebirth was only 3 weeks old. Has your opinion changed in the past seven months? We'll take a look at your response next year!
This week's poll question: More than six months in, how satisfied are you with Rebirth overall? Please visit the Boosterrific Polls page to view results for this week's poll.

Arch Villainy 101
Take that, Peter Platinum!
Last week's poll question: Who do you consider to be Booster Gold's arch-nemesis? (64 votes)
Attention novice comic book writers: if you want to create an arch enemy for your hero, have him kill off the hero's best friend. Presto. Instant arch-nemesis!
Honestly, I would have thought the Royal Flush Gang would have made a better showing. I suppose it is hard to be taken seriously when you always lose to a B-list hero.

15 Things You Did Know About Booster Gold
Over the weekend, Edward Cambro informed the world "15 Things You Didn't Know About Booster Gold" over at ScreenRant.com.
I suspect that Booster boosters knew most of those 15 things, with one notable exception: His archenemy is not Peter Platinum.
I'm don't mean to be too hard on Cambro. He does admit that calling PP an archenemy is a bit of a stretch. While I can appreciate his candor and logic, I could never call someone who gets a one-shot appearance anyone's "archenemy."
One of the very first polls I ever ran was a question about who you fans thought was Booster's archenemy. Since Cambro has brought it back up, I'll ask again. We'll take a look at your votes on Friday.

Booster Gold and a Cast of Thousands
Last week's poll question: Which story would be best adapted for the Booster Gold movie? (54 votes)
Positives of turning 52 into a movie: The spectacle! An all-star cast of lesser DC comics heroes would attract a wider audience.
Drawbacks of turning 52 into a movie: The cost! Even reducing the plot to a minimum number of moving parts is going to require a lot of special effects.
That said, yeah, I'd love to see 52: The Movie. Just so long as Booster Gold gets the starring role.

From Panel to Screen
Russ Burlingame, the Lois Lane of Booster Gold journalism, recently posted his own picks for the Booster Gold stories best suited for adaptation into a live action movie. His list included:
- Booster Gold Volume 1 #6 ("To Cross the Rubicon"): the origin story of Booster Gold. Every super hero's first movie has to be his origin story, right?
- Booster Gold Volume 1 #10 ("Death Grip of the 1000"): Booster Gold vs The 1000. It was his first comic adventure!
- Booster Gold Volume 2 #41 ("Booster - Busted!"): The trial of Michael "Booster" Carter for crimes against time travel. We're long overdue for the first super-hero courtroom drama.
- Justice League International #34 ("Club JLI"): Blue and Gold hijinks on KooeyKooeyKooey. Four words: Fire in a bikini.
- 52: Booster Gold saves the Multiverse. This sounds ambitious, but keep in mind that this entire story took place by design without DC's heavy hitters.
- Booster Gold Volume 2 #1 ("52 Pick-Up"): Booster Gold as The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of. Pretty much the same as the current NBC television show Timeless. If that's a hit....
You can read Burlingame's justification for these stories at ComicBook.com.
And once you've done that, come back here and vote for your favorite!
