She's Back?
This has been covered elsewhere (from mainstream sites like Bleeding Cool to blogs like Exploring the Time Lab to the Boosterrific Forum), but I would be remiss not to mention it here: the woman in black is back.

The mysterious lady on the right side of the advance solicitation cover for Justice League International #5 released by DC earlier this week was last seen on the solicited cover to Justice League International #1. She was removed from the cover and eventually replaced by Godiva in the published issue (as seen here).
While we still don't even know who she is, we can probably assume that it must be Godiva's evil twin, Godiva Dark! Will Justice League International #5 really be her bittersweet introduction to the JLI, or did DC fudge another solicitation image? Find out when the issue hits stands on January 4, 2012.

Dan Jurgens at New York Comic Con 2011
On Tuesday Vaneta Rogers asked Dan Jurgens the question of the week in her column "JURGENS Talks Fast-Moving JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL" at Newsarama.com:
Nrama: Does Booster really have a "Booster Cave?" Will we see it soon?
Jurgens: Of course, the "Booster Cave" is real! In a sense, anyway. And, yes, you will see it.
I'm already giddy with anticipation, but Jurgens is coy as usual. If that answer is still too vague for you, there's still time to make travel plans to meet Jurgens at this weekend's New York Comic Con.
Dan Jurgens' website, danjurgens.com, indicates that Jurgens will be at the convention for 2 days, October 14 and 15, but the convention website, newyorkcomiccon.com, only notes that Jurgens will be present for the "DC All Access: Justice League" panel on Saturday, October 15. Maybe Jurgens is attending on Friday as a fan.
No doubt Jurgens will talk about Booster Gold and the rest of the Justice League International as part of the "DC All Access: Justice League" panel. Jurgens will be one of many creators on the one hour panel, including Brian Azzarello, Brian Buccellato, Cliff Chiang, Yildiray Cinar, Tony Daniel, Geoff Johns, JT Krul, Jim Lee, Francis Manapul, Joe Prado, Ivan Reis, Philip Tan, and Eric Wallace.
Despite that stellar line-up, the panel is scheduled to last only one hour, from noon to 1PM. Fourteen creators on one panel for one hour? That means that each creator should get to speak for just about 3 minutes each. Choose your questions wisely, attendees.

International Exchange: JLI #2
Russ Burlingame is getting fast with his "International Exchange" interviews with Dan Jurgens at theouthousers.com. The latest column was published yesterday afternoon.
IX: Booster seems much more receptive to Godiva this issue than he was last time around. Is that my imagination, or the heat of battle, or something more?
DJ: The something more is simple: When a pretty girl bats her eyes at Booster he immediately softens a bit. Besides, any question of receptiveness in #1 was due more to a lack of familiarity.
Could there be love in the air? Say, didn't Time Masters: Vanishing Point reveal that Booster's future wife is a blond? Hmm?

New Releases: Justice League International #2
Traditionally, comics retailers have ordered significantly fewer copies of second issues than first issues. That being the case, you may want to hustle to your Local Comic Shop before Justice League International #2 sells out today (assuming you don't buy your comics online where they never sell out). Don't be the last on your block to learn the stunning answer to the biggest question in the DCnU!
"Not benched"? Has Skeets been destroyed? Is Skeets having missions without Booster? Has Skeets been rebooted with a sense of humor? Did Jim Lee redesign Skeets into something akin to Doctor Who's K-9? I have to know!!

Comicvine.com has posted an exclusive preview of Justice League International #2. The preview -- click here to read it at comicvine.com -- shows four apparently non-consecutive pages, so to get the whole story, you'll have to buy the whole issue shipping this coming Wednesday, October 5. Let the countdown begin!
